Where is the OBD connector located in the older model Mondeo?

The OBD connector in the older model Mondeo is located under the driver's seat, inside a storage compartment. Pull it open to find the diagnostic connector inside. Here is some relevant information about OBD: 1. OBD real-time monitoring includes: EGR, engine, particulate filter, catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, emission control system, fuel system, and other components. For example, intake manifold pressure, intake temperature, air flow rate, throttle position, oxygen sensor voltage, fuel pressure, etc. 2. The original purpose of OBD: To monitor whether the vehicle's exhaust exceeds standards by observing the engine's operating conditions. Its general function is to monitor emission-related components in real-time and send the information to the vehicle's computer to determine if the vehicle is operating normally.
I used to drive an older Mondeo, and the OBD port was right beside the driver's left leg. Just look down below the dashboard, there's a recessed area to the lower left of the steering wheel, roughly at knee height. That black trapezoidal connector is the standard 16-pin port. Last time I got my car repaired, the mechanic just plugged the diagnostic tool right in there, saying older cars usually hide it in this corner—way more convenient than some models that tuck it inside the center console. Just don’t mix it up with the fuse box connector, which is in the engine bay.
