Where is the Nissan Tiida's cabin air filter located?

Nissan Tiida's cabin air filter is located in the middle of the instrument panel. It's relatively easy to see after removing the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat, positioned in the left middle section. The cabin air filter tends to accumulate a lot of dust, which can be removed using compressed air to blow away loose particles. Never wash it with water as this could easily damage it. The Nissan Tiida is the hatchback version of the Tiida sedan. Viewed from the side, the Tiida hatchback features softer lines, appearing more refined without the sedan's trunk. The rear lines are more streamlined, with trapezoid-shaped triangular windows beside the C-pillar that create a downward-tapering visual effect. The Tiida has a wheelbase of 2600mm, with length, width, and height dimensions of 4205mm, 1695mm, and 1540mm respectively.
I just drove my Nissan Tiida to change the air conditioning filter, which is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. If you want to replace it, first clear out any items in the glove box, then look for several clips at the bottom of the box—just gently pry them open to remove it. After that, you’ll see a plastic cover; open it, and the filter is right inside. I replace mine every 15,000 kilometers, so the air blown out by the AC stays fresh and dust-free in the car. Doing it yourself saves money—a new filter costs just a few dozen yuan, much cheaper than going to a repair shop. All you need is a screwdriver, but be careful not to damage the nearby wires. If there’s a strange smell in your car or the filter is old and clogged, it can easily affect the cooling efficiency—I’ve learned this the hard way. Remember to check it regularly and don’t delay; protecting respiratory health is crucial. Overall, the design is quite practical, and the replacement is quick—just half an hour to get it done.
