Where is the Nissan Tiida's cabin air filter located?

Nissan Tiida's cabin air filter is located in the middle of the instrument panel. You can see it by opening the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat. Steps to replace the cabin air filter: 1. First, open the glove compartment cover. 2. Remove the entire glove compartment. 3. After removal, press the upper and lower clips on the left side inside to remove the cabin air filter cover and take out the filter. 4. Then install the new filter. Notes on cabin air filter usage: 1. After a period of use, the activated carbon filtration function inside the filter will diminish, so it needs to be replaced at a 4S shop. 2. Normally, it is recommended to replace it every 10,000 kilometers or about one year. If the vehicle is often driven in areas with severe air pollution, it is best to shorten the replacement interval. 3. There are now many types of cabin air filters available, with the latest being the HEPA cabin air filter, which is more effective at filtering particulate matter and can filter PM2.5.
Last time I replaced the cabin air filter of my Tiida by myself, which is located behind the glove box on the passenger side. When you open the glove box, you'll see limit clips on both sides - just squeeze and press down simultaneously to remove it. After taking off the box, there's a black plastic cover inside; press the clip to pull out the old filter. The new Tiida uses a V-shaped filter, make sure to install it with the arrow facing downward. The whole process takes about 15 minutes - remember to wear gloves to prevent cuts. I recommend changing it every 10,000 km or when you notice a musty smell. Online filters now cost just 30-50 RMB. DIY replacement can save you around 100 RMB in labor fees, but be careful not to break the clips - I cracked the right-side clip during my first attempt.
