Nissan Tiida's cabin air filter is located in the middle of the instrument panel. You can see it by opening the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat. Steps to replace the cabin air filter: 1. First, open the glove compartment cover. 2. Remove the entire glove compartment. 3. After removal, press the upper and lower clips on the left side inside to remove the cabin air filter cover and take out the filter. 4. Then install the new filter. Notes on cabin air filter usage: 1. After a period of use, the activated carbon filtration function inside the filter will diminish, so it needs to be replaced at a 4S shop. 2. Normally, it is recommended to replace it every 10,000 kilometers or about one year. If the vehicle is often driven in areas with severe air pollution, it is best to shorten the replacement interval. 3. There are now many types of cabin air filters available, with the latest being the HEPA cabin air filter, which is more effective at filtering particulate matter and can filter PM2.5.

Last time I replaced the cabin air filter of my Tiida by myself, which is located behind the glove box on the passenger side. When you open the glove box, you'll see limit clips on both sides - just squeeze and press down simultaneously to remove it. After taking off the box, there's a black plastic cover inside; press the clip to pull out the old filter. The new Tiida uses a V-shaped filter, make sure to install it with the arrow facing downward. The whole process takes about 15 minutes - remember to wear gloves to prevent cuts. I recommend changing it every 10,000 km or when you notice a musty smell. Online filters now cost just 30-50 RMB. DIY replacement can save you around 100 RMB in labor fees, but be careful not to break the clips - I cracked the right-side clip during my first attempt.

What is the fuel consumption when idling with air conditioning on for a 160-horsepower engine?

When idling with the air conditioning on, a car consumes approximately 1 liter more fuel per hour. Here are the relevant details: Air conditioning compressor: It is directly driven by the engine crankshaft, and power is transmitted between the compressor pulley and the compressor drive shaft via an electromagnetic clutch. After pressing the A/C switch, when the interior temperature is higher than the set temperature, the electromagnetic clutch engages, and the compressor starts working. When the interior temperature is lower than the set temperature, the clutch disengages, and the compressor stops working. Fuel consumption rate: The fuel consumption rate of the engine at idle is generally about 400 grams per kilowatt-hour. Assuming the air conditioning consumes an average power of 2 kilowatts per hour, the additional fuel consumption for running the air conditioning for 1 hour would be 400 × 2 = 800 (grams); the density of gasoline is 750 grams per liter.

Can I drive with a dented hood in rainy weather?

Just having a dented hood alone will not affect the vehicle's operation. Below is a detailed introduction to the functions of a car hood: 1. Airflow guidance: For objects moving at high speeds in the air, the air resistance and turbulence generated around the moving object directly affect its trajectory and speed. The shape of the hood can effectively adjust the direction of airflow relative to the car's movement and the resistance it generates, reducing the impact of airflow on the car. 2. Protection for the engine and surrounding components: Under the hood are critical parts of the car, including the engine, electrical circuits, fuel lines, braking system, and transmission system, all of which are vital to the vehicle. By enhancing the strength and structure of the hood, it can effectively prevent adverse effects such as impacts, corrosion, rainwater, and electrical interference, ensuring the vehicle's normal operation. 3. Aesthetics: The exterior design of a vehicle is a direct reflection of its value. As an important part of the overall appearance, the hood plays a crucial role in enhancing visual appeal and embodying the concept of the entire car.

What models are compatible with 1630 tires?

According to multiple sources, the 16×40 outer tire corresponds to the 4.00-12 model, and the two are interchangeable. Below is the relevant introduction: Outer tire: The annular casing of a pneumatic tire, whose function is to bear the vehicle load, prevent the inner tube from bulging after inflation, limit the outer dimensions of the tire, and protect the inner tube from mechanical damage. It is generally composed of components such as the tread, cushion layer (belt layer for radial tires), carcass ply layer, sidewall, and bead. Friction: The tread pattern on the outer tire is designed to increase friction with the ground. Based on the hardness of the sidewall, it can be divided into soft-sidewall tires and hard-sidewall tires. Soft-sidewall tires have a wider cross-section, can fully enclose the inner tube, have a larger contact area, strong grip, and the outer tire width is particularly wide. The deeper tread pattern is also suitable for off-road and mountain use, capable of adapting to various road conditions, similar to mountain bikes.

What is Sludge?

In different parts of the engine, the sludge produced can be divided into low-temperature sludge and high-temperature sludge. The following is a detailed introduction about sludge: 1. Low-temperature sludge: Low-temperature sludge is produced by the combined effect of blow-by gas (containing unburned fuel and water) and engine oil. During low-temperature or short-distance operation, the water and fuel in the crankcase do not completely evaporate, leading to emulsification and the formation of sludge. 2. High-temperature sludge: High-temperature sludge is formed when some larger molecules polymerize under high-temperature conditions, causing the thickening of the engine oil, i.e., a change in the oil's viscosity. Over time, this leads to the accumulation of sludge. This sludge can increase the viscosity of the oil, clog oil passages, and result in insufficient oil supply. Sludge that has formed over a period of time and is subjected to prolonged high-temperature heating becomes hard and brittle, which is referred to as 'black sludge.' Black sludge can lead to increased component wear and even seizure.
