Mercedes-Benz center console screen switch is located on the center console panel. There is a button on the panel with a circular symbol, which is the button that controls the center console screen switch. The center console panel also has many other functions, such as volume keys, multimedia menu, audio menu shortcuts, return key, automatic parking, and parking radar switch. I've seen many new Mercedes-Benz models, and actually their center control screens don't have a separate power button. As soon as you unlock the car, turn the key or press the start button, the large screen automatically lights up to welcome you, synchronized with the dashboard. If you really want to turn the screen off, you need to find the row of touch buttons at the bottom of the center console or use the small knob. You can press and hold the small house icon on the left side of the center button for three seconds, or go into the system settings and select the display option to turn off the screen. Some coupe models even have shortcut keys on the steering wheel. However, it's best to manually turn off the navigation and music before shutting down the engine to avoid a sudden loud noise the next time you start the car. Turning off the screen while waiting in the car does save some battery, but Mercedes engineers say it doesn't affect the lifespan of the main unit in the long run.

I've been driving a Mercedes-Benz C-Class for three years, and every time I start the car, the dashboard and center console screen automatically turn on. To temporarily turn off the screen, I either press the little house button on the left side of the steering wheel to enter the main menu and find the shutdown option, or simply tap anywhere on the row of touch-sensitive air conditioning buttons below the screen to wake up the display. A trick is to switch to another interface when using navigation and then turn off the screen, so the navigation won't reset the route the next time it starts. The new models' touchscreens are incredibly responsive, and the screen-off function is now hidden in the quick settings—you can also swipe down with two fingers to bring up the background programs and manually turn it off. Remember to regularly clean the screen with a microfiber cloth, as too many fingerprints can lead to accidental touches.

Mercedes-Benz's current mainstream models like the GLC and S-Class have integrated the infotainment screen switch into the system. The screen automatically turns on when you start the car. To turn it off: 1. Press and hold the leftmost house icon on the lower row of touch buttons below the center console for 2 seconds; 2. Use the small rotary knob to select the display menu in system settings to turn off the screen; 3. In some newer versions, swipe down with two fingers on the left steering wheel touchpad to access the quick panel for operation. Some coupe designs are more discreet, requiring simultaneous press-and-hold of the voice command and favorite buttons for 3 seconds. Actually, completely powering off isn't necessary - adjusting brightness in the lighting menu can save power. If the screen goes dark while driving, it doesn't affect much as navigation voice guidance continues normally.

Pay attention to the induction strip with white light at the bottom of the center console. Press and hold the house icon button on the left to turn the screen on/off. Mercedes-Benz's screen logic differs from other vehicles - it illuminates upon unlocking and delays complete power-off for dozens of seconds after engine shutdown. For long-term parking, enter engineering mode for complete shutdown: simultaneously press and hold the dial button, end call button, and voice command button for ten seconds until the screen goes black before releasing. The new E-Class electric version features gesture control - quickly waving your hand left and right above the cup holder toggles the switch. Applying an anti-glare film proves practical, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight without maximum brightness adjustment.

Veteran Mercedes owners reveal that early ML series had standalone screen switches atop the wiper stalk, now replaced with touch controls across the lineup. The three-step operation: After starting the vehicle, use the center console knob to select the vehicle settings icon and press, navigate to the display option in the system submenu, then scroll the wheel to the 'off' position and confirm. For quick power saving during long traffic lights, simply say 'Hey Mercedes, turn off screen' for faster voice command. Touch sensitivity is exceptionally high—avoid swiping too forcefully when turning off the display. Remember to update the infotainment system every six months, as older versions may experience screen-off lag.

What are the two wires of the airbag?

One is the power wire, and the other is the ground detonation wire controlled by the ECU. Below is the relevant introduction about airbags: 1. Definition of airbag: airbag, a passive safety device that can rapidly inflate when a vehicle accident occurs, used to protect the safety of passengers. The airbag is a highly technical product in automotive passive safety. Its protective effect has been widely recognized, and the first patent related to airbags dates back to 1958. 2. Advantages of airbags: They can evenly distribute the impact force on the head and chest, preventing fragile passengers from directly colliding with the vehicle body, greatly reducing the possibility of injury. Airbags are indeed effective in protecting passengers during frontal collisions, and even without wearing a seatbelt, the anti-collision airbag is sufficient to effectively reduce injuries.

What is the reason for the BYD S6 not starting but with normal power supply?

No response during startup is generally caused by three reasons: 1. Engine issues: Assuming the starter can work normally, but the vehicle cannot start, this indicates that there are problems with other components such as the engine. If you keep trying to start the car at this time, it is easy to drain the battery, and continuous attempts to start are also very bad for the starter. 2. Battery depletion: If you find that the starter is not working properly when trying to start, it is very likely that the battery is already depleted. Continuously trying to start the car at this time will cause damage to the vehicle's battery, or even lead to battery failure. 3. Starter motor burnout: You can check in the following way. Put the key in the ignition position, check whether the dashboard is powered, or you can turn on the air conditioner.

What is the reason for the flashing electronic parking brake warning light in Honda vehicles?

Honda electronic parking brake warning light flashes due to the following reasons: 1. The parking brake is not fully released: Try pulling the parking brake and releasing it completely to see if the light turns off. 2. Brake fluid leakage: Visit a repair shop or authorized dealership to inspect and fix the brake fluid leakage, then refill the brake fluid. Both lights should then turn off and return to normal. 3. Worn brake pads: Thinning brake pads cause the brake fluid level in the reservoir to drop. When the level reaches the sensor's activation point, the parking brake light illuminates. If the fluid level hovers around the activation threshold, the light may flicker as the vehicle moves. To check, open the hood and inspect the brake fluid reservoir's level markings. If the fluid is indeed too low, examine whether the brake pads have reached their wear limit.

What is the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers for the Passat?

The actual fuel consumption for the Passat 1.8T is 6.8L per 100 kilometers. Method for calculating fuel consumption: The actual method to calculate fuel consumption per 100 kilometers: X/100=50/600, where X is the actual fuel consumption per 100 kilometers sought, and the right side of the equation represents 50L of fuel consumed over 600 kilometers of driving. Definition of fuel consumption per 100 kilometers: Fuel consumption per 100 kilometers refers to the amount of fuel a vehicle consumes when driving 100 kilometers at a certain speed on the road. It is a theoretical indicator for vehicles. The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is measured by manufacturers in an objective environment using a dynamometer installed under the vehicle's chassis, converting the measured values into speed parameters, and then calculating the theoretical experimental fuel consumption data per 100 kilometers for the model at specified speeds.
