Where is the memory card installed in Geely's dash cam?

Geely's dash cam memory card is installed under the co-driver seat. Pull the co-driver seat forward to its limit, and you can see a protruding area at the bottom of the co-driver seat from behind. Open it to find the slot for inserting the memory card/USB drive. Introduction to dash cams: A dash cam is a device that records images, sounds, and related information during vehicle travel. After installing a dash cam, it can record the entire driving process with video and audio, providing evidence for traffic accidents. Choosing memory for dash cams: Generally, the size of the memory card should be determined based on the recording clarity of the dash cam and the storage capacity of the camera. High-definition dash cams have 720p and 1080p resolutions. A 4G card can record about 1 hour of 720p video, while 1080p video occupies nearly twice the space of 720p.
I'm totally familiar with installing memory cards! In Geely cars, you usually find the slot on the side or bottom of that black box behind the rearview mirror. Last time when I installed a card for my brother's Binyue, I discovered the slot was quite hidden—you had to push the dash cam lens upward to reveal the horizontal slot, and you'd know it's properly inserted when you hear a click. Remember to install it with the metal side facing down, otherwise it won't read the card and that's troublesome. I learned this the hard way—if a 128G card doesn't have a Class 10 or higher read/write speed, playback will stutter like a slideshow. Also, remember to format the card when it's full, or you might miss recording crucial accident footage in emergencies.
Last year when I helped my dad install the Xingyue L dash cam, I did some research. Most card slots are located on the module between the rearview mirror and the windshield. If you look at the right side of the device from the passenger seat, there's a small sliding cover about the size of a fingernail. Just push it sideways and the card slot will pop out. Be careful not to force it during installation - I once broke the card pin inside and had to pay 200 yuan at the dealership to get it removed. I recommend using your phone's flashlight to clearly see the notch direction first, and it's best to use the small tweezers that come with it. A 64GB card is enough for about half a month, but in subzero winter temperatures, Samsung Blue cards perform much more stably than generic brands.
