Baojun cars are manufactured in China. It is an independent automotive brand created by SAIC-GM-Wuling. Taking the 2020 Baojun 310w as an example, it is a compact 5-door, 5-seater station wagon with body dimensions of 4620mm in length, 1710mm in width, and 1535mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. The 2020 Baojun 310w is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 5-speed mechanical automatic transmission, delivering a maximum power of 77 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 135 Newton-meters. It features front-wheel drive, with a MacPherson strut independent suspension at the front and a torsion beam non-independent suspension at the rear.
Last time I went to Liuzhou for a trip, I specifically visited the Baojun production line. Their factory is located in the Liuzhou Hexi Industrial Zone, occupying a large area along the Liujiang River. During rush hour after work, the electric vehicles at the gate can block the entire road. Actually, Wuling's hometown is in Liuzhou. After SAIC-GM took a stake, they directly built a new factory area here for Baojun. Last year, my neighbor bought a Baojun KiWi, and there was even a Liuzhou quality inspection slip tucked in the glove compartment of the passenger seat. Speaking of geographical location, it's quite convenient—close to the dock and with access to highways, so the manufactured cars can be directly shipped nationwide.
