Where is the Malibu's Cabin Air Filter Located?

The Malibu's cabin air filter is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. The steps to replace the cabin air filter are as follows: 1. There is a suspension cord on the right side of the glove compartment. 2. Press both sides of the glove compartment inward and then lift it outward to remove it. 3. At this point, use an object (such as chopsticks, etc.) to secure the suspension cord to prevent it from retracting. 4. Unscrew a total of five screws—four on the sides and one in the middle. The connection wire for the glove compartment light can be left connected or disconnected. If left connected, be careful not to break it. At this point, you can see the cover plate for the cabin air filter. 5. Open the cover plate by releasing the fixing clips on both sides and the upper middle part. After pulling out the glove compartment, you will see a black box, which is the cabin air filter. 6. Replace the cabin air filter and then reinstall it in the reverse order.
