The main relay of the Volkswagen Lavida is located inside the instrument panel below the left side of the driver's seat. A relay serves as both a control switch and the controlled object. Automotive relays consist of two parts: the control circuit, which operates the coil, and the main circuit, which operates the contacts. In the relay's control circuit, there is only a small operating current because the contact capacity of the operating switch is limited, making it unsuitable for directly controlling high-power loads. Instead, the relay's contacts are used to control the circuit's on/off state. The Volkswagen Lavida (LAVIDA) is the first A-segment car independently developed by Shanghai Volkswagen, with dimensions of 4605mm in length, 1765mm in width, and 1460mm in height.
