Where is the Luxgen Air Filter Located?

Luxgen air filter is located behind the glove box on the passenger side. The owner needs to remove the glove box to see a white cover on the blower. Opening the cover will reveal the air filter. The air filter ensures that the air conditioning system fits tightly to the housing, preventing unfiltered air from entering the cabin, and separates solid impurities such as dust and abrasive particles from the air. Luxgen is a brand jointly established by Taiwan's Yulon Group and Dongfeng Motor, positioned as 'an independent brand with innovative technology, latecomer advantage, and global leadership.' It produces luxurious and intelligent humanized smart vehicles, including MPVs, SUVs, and compact cars.
In my own Luxgen car, the cabin air filter is usually located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. You just need to open the glove box, remove any items inside, and then locate the clips or cover panel at the bottom of the compartment. Release those small clips or unscrew the screws, and you'll see a rectangular filter cover. Open it, and the filter is right inside. The first time I replaced it was quite challenging, but once familiar, it only takes a few minutes. After knowing the location, remember to replace the filter every six months or every 10,000 kilometers to ensure good air quality inside the car, prevent dust and bacteria buildup, and keep the air from the AC fresh, making summer drives more comfortable. If left unchanged for a long time, a clogged filter can increase the load on the AC system and lead to higher fuel consumption, so I always remind fellow car owners to check it regularly. Before starting, turn off the AC and wear gloves to protect against dust.
