It is located behind the hazard light switch inside the vehicle. Relay: The turn signal relay is a controller that regulates the flashing frequency of the turn signals. In the B5 model, the turn signal relay is integrated with the hazard light switch. Therefore, if the turn signal relay needs to be replaced, the hazard light switch must be replaced together. Steps for removing and replacing turn signals: To replace the front turn signal, first open the engine hood. Locate the headlight assembly, where there are three soft covers at the rear. The left and right covers are for the low beam and high beam lights, respectively, and there is another cover below. Remove the cover and place it in a safe position to prevent it from falling into the engine compartment. There is a turn signal socket with a handle; unscrew and pull it out, then rotate the bulb to remove and replace it.
