The cabin air filter of the Livina is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. Steps to replace the cabin air filter: 1. First, open the glove compartment on the passenger side and remove the screws on the glove compartment; 2. Then, squeeze both sides of the glove compartment to remove it; 3. Remove the cabin air filter cover and take out the old filter; 4. Replace it with a new cabin air filter and reassemble everything in reverse order. The Livina is an economical hatchback launched by Dongfeng Nissan for the Chinese market. In terms of appearance, the front face of the Livina adopts the typical Nissan design style. The full front face features a bold and large grille divided by the Nissan logo, paired with sharp headlight clusters on both sides and a slightly protruding front bumper, giving a sense of stability. In terms of body dimensions, the Livina measures 4249mm in length, 1695mm in width, and 1577mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600mm.

Last time I changed the Livi's cabin air filter, it was quite a hassle. It's hidden deep inside the glove compartment on the passenger side, requiring the entire glove box to be removed first. There are five screws in total to remove—be careful not to break the plastic clips. After removing the glove box, you'll see a rectangular plastic cover; gently push it to the side to remove the cover. The filter is a thin rectangle, covered in dust when pulled out. A reminder for those doing it themselves: check the arrow direction on the new filter before installing—installing it backward affects filtration. Remember to check it every 10,000 kilometers or if there's any odor; the design of this location isn't very user-friendly.

Our Livina owners group often talks about this cabin air filter. It's hidden behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, and those who are handy can definitely replace it themselves. First, empty the glove compartment and locate the retaining clips on both sides at the bottom, then lift them up to release. Once the entire glove compartment is lowered, you'll see a black plastic cover; just pry open the clips with your fingers to remove the old filter. Remember to choose a dual-effect filter with activated carbon when buying one, and it's best to replace it before the summer rainy season. Doing it yourself saves 200 yuan compared to the dealership, but remember to wear gloves to avoid getting cut by the plastic edges. After replacement, turn on the AC and you'll immediately feel the air is much fresher.

Can the Wuling Hongguang Mini be driven in snowy weather?

According to officially released data, the Bao Lai comes with two engine displacements: 1.4T and 1.5T. The 1.4T model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, while the 1.5T model takes 13.7 seconds. Factors affecting a vehicle's 0-100 km/h acceleration time are as follows: Torque: Torque, in layman's terms, represents how much force is available. The greater the torque, the stronger the force pushing the vehicle, leading to naturally faster acceleration. The Bao Lai 1.4T model has a maximum torque of 250 Nm and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. The Bao Lai 1.5T model has a maximum torque of 145 Nm and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 13.7 seconds. The Xing Rui 2.0T has a torque of 300 Nm and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Transmission efficiency: The transmission serves as the medium for power delivery and inevitably involves power loss. The higher the transmission efficiency, the better the acceleration performance. Generally, transmission efficiency ranks as follows: manual transmission > dry dual-clutch transmission (DCT) > wet dual-clutch transmission > automatic transmission (AT) > continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Bao Lai 1.4T model is equipped with a dry dual-clutch transmission (DCT), while the Bao Lai 1.5T model uses a manual-automatic transmission (AT). Power-to-weight ratio: The relationship between horsepower and vehicle weight is called the power-to-weight ratio (measured in Hp/T). The higher the power-to-weight ratio, the faster the acceleration. The Xing Rui has a power-to-weight ratio of 127 Hp/T and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The Bao Lai 1.4T has a power-to-weight ratio of 114 Hp/T and accelerates in 8.3 seconds, while the Bao Lai 1.5T has a ratio of 88 Hp/T and takes 13.7 seconds.

What is the engine model of the Fista?

The 1.4T version of the Fista uses the G4LD engine model, with a maximum power of 103kW and a maximum torque of 240Nm. The 1.6T version is equipped with the G4FJ engine, delivering a maximum output power of 150kW and a maximum torque of 265Nm. The Fista engine is a domestically produced engine manufactured by Beijing Hyundai. For daily maintenance of the Fista engine, the following methods can be applied: Use lubricating oil of appropriate quality grade. For gasoline engines, select SD--SF grade gasoline engine oil based on the additional equipment of the intake and exhaust systems and usage conditions; for diesel engines, choose CB--CD grade diesel engine oil according to mechanical load, with the selection standard not lower than the manufacturer's specified requirements. Regularly change the engine oil and filter. The quality of any grade of lubricating oil will change during use. After a certain mileage, performance deteriorates, leading to various engine issues. To avoid malfunctions, change the oil regularly based on usage conditions and maintain an appropriate oil level. When oil passes through the fine pores of the filter, solid particles and viscous substances in the oil accumulate in the filter. If the filter becomes clogged and oil cannot pass through the filter element, it may rupture the filter element or open the safety valve, bypassing through the relief valve and bringing contaminants back to the lubrication areas, accelerating engine wear and increasing internal pollution. Periodically clean the crankcase. During engine operation, high-pressure unburned gases, acids, moisture, sulfur, and nitrogen oxides from the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston rings and cylinder walls, mixing with metal particles from component wear to form sludge. In small amounts, it remains suspended in the oil; in large amounts, it precipitates, clogging filters and oil passages, making engine lubrication difficult and causing wear. Regularly use a radiator cleaner to flush the radiator. Removing rust and scale not only ensures the engine operates normally but also extends the overall lifespan of the radiator and engine.

What is automotive OBD?

Automotive OBD is the On-Board Diagnostics system, which continuously monitors the engine's operating conditions to check if the vehicle's emissions exceed standards and will issue an immediate warning if they do. When a system malfunction occurs, the malfunction indicator lamp or check engine warning light will illuminate, while the powertrain control module stores the fault information in memory. Through specific procedures, the fault codes can be read from the PCM. Based on the fault code prompts, maintenance personnel can accurately determine the nature and location of the fault. The OBD interface in vehicles is generally located in the interior trim panel below the steering wheel, near the driver's knee area.

What are the reasons for the engine fault warning light to illuminate?

The reasons for the engine fault warning light to illuminate are: 1. Poor combustion state; 2. Poor fuel quality; 3. Dirty engine cylinder interior with carbon deposits. The engine fault signal on the car dashboard is issued by the ECU (Engine Control Unit), which controls all electronic devices of the entire engine, such as the electronic throttle, fuel injectors, alternator, fuel pump, etc., covering various systems including intake, exhaust, fuel, ignition, and timing. When the engine fault light comes on, the owner should start and turn off the vehicle three times in a row, or disconnect the negative terminal of the engine battery, wait for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it.

How to use the car's cruise control?

The method to use the car's cruise control is: First, ensure the vehicle speed is above 40 km/h, then press the on/off button (the middle button). Note that simply activating this function doesn't engage cruise control; you must also press the top button among the three buttons to officially enable the cruise control feature. The cruise control system can only reduce speed by decreasing throttle input, not by applying brakes. Once cruise control is activated, the vehicle will maintain the speed set by the driver automatically without needing to press the accelerator pedal, allowing the car to travel at a constant speed.
