Where is the location for filling windshield wiper fluid?

Windshield wiper fluid is filled in the lower left corner of the engine compartment, near the edge. There is a plastic tube extending from below with a cap featuring a fan-shaped pattern - this is where you add wiper fluid. Automotive windshield fluid mainly consists of water, alcohol, glycol, corrosion inhibitors, and various surfactants. It is a consumable item in vehicle use, commonly known as washer fluid. During autumn and winter seasons, the washer fluid should have excellent cleaning and antifreeze properties. Winter washer fluid should be selected based on its antifreeze performance, choosing a product with a freezing point at least 10 degrees Celsius below the local minimum temperature. Otherwise, it may cause the fluid to freeze or lead to water pump failure in the reservoir. The appropriate product should be selected according to local temperatures.
The place to fill the washer fluid is usually hidden under the hood, so you'll need to open it and look carefully. In most cars, it's located near the right corner or the fender, with a small cap labeled 'washer fluid' or a windshield washer symbol. I've driven several cars, and whenever it runs out of fluid, I top it up myself—just buy a bottle of dedicated cleaning solution. Never use plain tap water, as it can clog the nozzles and cause more trouble. Before refilling, it's best to check the reservoir capacity to avoid overfilling and spills. Driving without washer fluid can be dangerous, especially in poor visibility during rain, so making it a habit to regularly check and keep the reservoir filled is wise. I usually check it monthly when inspecting other fluids, just in case it runs dry and affects driving safety. If you can't find it at all, the vehicle manual is your best bet—every car design differs, but there's always a filler port somewhere.
