Where is the Liana's cabin air filter located?

Liana's cabin air filter is located on the right side facing the engine, and it can be seen by opening the front hood of the vehicle. The cabin air filter, commonly known as the pollen filter, is designed to filter the air entering the cabin from the outside, improving air cleanliness. It typically filters out impurities in the air, including tiny particles, pollen, bacteria, industrial exhaust, and dust. The Liana is a modern urban lifestyle car developed by Changhe Suzuki based on the Japanese Suzuki Liana prototype. Its body dimensions are 4300mm in length, 1705mm in width, and 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2570mm. The Liana is equipped with two types of engines: a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine.
In the Liana car, the cabin air filter is mainly hidden inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. I've driven this model for several years and always replace it myself during maintenance. You need to open the glove box first, then locate several plastic clips or screws at its bottom or side. Gently press or unscrew them to remove the entire glove box. At this point, you'll see a small rectangular hatch—opening it reveals the filter compartment. Simply take out the old filter and insert the new one, making sure it's properly seated. I personally recommend replacing it once a year or every 15,000 kilometers. This not only filters out external dust and pollen but also keeps the cabin air fresher, which is especially beneficial for health. Replacing it before winter ensures noticeably better performance when the AC is on and prevents odor buildup.
