Where is the keyhole of the Tiida?

The keyhole of the Tiida is located on the driver's side door handle. Additionally, there is a slot the size of a smart key beneath the start button. In case the smart key runs out of battery, you can insert the entire smart key into the slot below the start button, press the brake pedal, and then press the start button to start the vehicle. The Tiida is a car produced by Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company. Its exterior design incorporates more curved lines, making it rounder and more stylish. The triangular headlights and front grille give the front fascia a somewhat aggressive look, while the wavy waistline on the side adds tension and dynamism. The interior of the Tiida, much like its exterior, features many curved designs, making the overall cabin look more fashionable than the previous model, with a clear and easy-to-operate layout.
I've been driving an old Tiida for over ten years, and the keyhole is clearly visible on the right side of the steering column. New owners, take note: models after 2011 switched to keyless start, so the steering column area is usually smooth. But the designers were sneaky—if the remote key runs out of battery, there’s a hidden compartment under the steering column. Just pry open the plastic cover with a coin to reveal the emergency keyhole. Some versions hide it under the armrest or in a small slot near the gear lever. I recommend checking page 35 of the Owner’s Manual—it has a diagram marking the location. Also, always check if the hidden compartment cover is still there after parking, as losing it can let dust in.
