Where is the intake pressure sensor located on the BMW N55 engine?

The engine intake pressure sensor is generally installed on the upper part of the vehicle's intake manifold to prevent water accumulation. Pressure Sensor: When learning about piezoresistive pressure sensors, first understand the component called a resistance strain gauge. A resistance strain gauge is a sensitive device that converts strain changes on the measured component into an electrical signal. It is one of the main components of a piezoresistive strain sensor. The most commonly used types are metal resistance strain gauges and semiconductor strain gauges. Typically, the strain gauge is tightly bonded to the mechanical strain substrate using a special adhesive. When the substrate undergoes stress changes, the resistance strain gauge also deforms, causing a change in the gauge's resistance and thus altering the voltage applied to the resistor. Precautions: Do not use any impact tools (such as hammers) to knock the pressure sensor into the intake manifold mounting hole. Do not allow any corrosive liquids (such as acids, alkalis, oils, lubricants, or even water) to penetrate the interior of the pressure sensor.
