Where is the instrument light fuse of Vios located?

The instrument light fuse of Vios is located in the fuse box under the cover plate on the left side of the steering wheel. Generally, the instrument lights of vehicles include ABS indicator light, EPC indicator light, OD gear indicator light, seat belt indicator light, battery indicator light, engine oil indicator light, fuel level indicator light, water temperature indicator light, engine indicator light, etc. Vios is an entry-level family car specially designed and developed by Toyota for the Asian market. Its body dimensions are 4420mm in length, 1700mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2550mm. In terms of appearance, the Vios is very harmonious overall, with rounded lines, a cute front face and taillights with fish scale patterns, which are also quite exquisite. These features are very much in line with the aesthetic preferences of Chinese consumers.
I've been repairing Toyota cars for over a decade. For the Vios model, the fuse for the instrument cluster lights is mainly located in the fuse box under the steering wheel's left side. Just look down and you'll see a small cover - pry it open and you'll find a diagram inside. Look for the label "Instrument Cluster" or "ILS", it's usually a 15-amp blue mini fuse. There's also a secondary fuse box behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, but the instrument cluster fuse usually isn't located there. Remember to turn off the engine and remove the key before operating, and never use iron wire as a fuse substitute. Last time someone did that, it burned out the entire dashboard - definitely not worth it.
Last time my Vios dashboard suddenly went completely black, it really scared me too. Actually, it's mostly a fuse issue. When you're in the driver's seat, look down to the lower left near your knee—there's a small plastic cover you can pop open with your fingernail. Don't get confused by the dozens of small squares inside; look for the one labeled 'Meter' or 'ILL'. For my model year, it was the third from the right in the second row—a little yellow 10-amp piece. If you can't find it, check the fuse box on the right side of the engine compartment. Lift the rectangular black cover, and there's another set on the battery side. I recommend keeping a pair of needle-nose pliers and a spare fuse (about 5 yuan) handy—it's much cheaper than calling a tow truck.
