Where is the ignition device located in the Classic Sylphy?

Classic Sylphy ignition device is located on the engine cylinder head. The ignition device refers to a device that can instantly provide sufficient energy to ignite pulverized coal, oil (gas) fuel and stabilize the flame. The automotive ignition device is a system for starting the vehicle's engine. The ignition device mainly consists of power supply, ignition coil, distributor, ignition switch, spark plug, additional resistance and its short-circuit device, high and low voltage wires, etc. Additional information: The causes of ignition device failure are as follows: 1. The car experiences sudden engine shutdown when using the ignition device, without obvious regularity, and the fault is eliminated after replacing the platinum. This is generally caused by poor contact in the ignition device circuit, broken wires grounding, etc.; 2. The car experiences unstable engine shutdown and other phenomena after driving for a long time, and returns to normal after cooling for a while. This does not occur with platinum, generally indicating that the ignition device chip has a high-speed misfire phenomenon, and the ignition device needs to be replaced; 3. The car operates normally before the ignition device is installed, but after installation and debugging, the idle speed is unstable during startup, the engine shakes severely when accelerating, and sometimes is accompanied by phenomena such as exhaust pipe backfire. If there is no improvement after adjusting the ignition angle, it is generally caused by the sensor's red and black wires being connected in reverse; 4. The car is difficult to start when using the ignition device in cold weather, which is generally caused by excessive sensor gap. If the gap is normal, observe whether the starter motor can rotate normally during startup. If the speed is too slow, it may be due to motor sweeping, battery depletion, or poor grounding of the ground wire.
I usually commute in a classic Nissan Sylphy, and the cigarette lighter socket is in a particularly easy-to-find position. It's located at the bottom of the center console, right in front of the gear lever on the driver's right side—a square socket with a spring-loaded cover. You can operate it blindly with your right hand while driving without any issues, and plugging a charging cable here won't obstruct your view. I remember the two front cup holders are right next to it, so placing a cup of coffee there doesn’t interfere with operation. Last time, my friend spent ages looking for it in my car, but the design is actually quite user-friendly—it's about ten centimeters from the gear lever, and a quick glance downward will spot it immediately.
