Where is the heating switch on the Geely Boyue?

The heating switch of the Geely Boyue is located at the internal circulation knob. Press the heating switch button to activate the heating mode. Function of the Geely Boyue heating system: During cold winters (even late autumn and early spring), the car's heating system can provide warmth inside the vehicle, raising the interior temperature. In winter, spring, and autumn, when air humidity is high and there is a significant temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car, frost or fog may form on the window glass, impairing the driver's visibility and compromising driving safety. In such cases, activating the heating system can help remove frost and fog from the window glass. Heating function: Adjust the air conditioning circulation mode to internal circulation and use the temperature control to increase the temperature. The Boyue features a very user-friendly configuration with rear air vents, but these vents only provide cooling and do not have a heating function—they solely support internal circulation. When starting the Boyue's engine in winter, there will initially be no warm air (as the coolant temperature is insufficient to heat the air for warm airflow). If the heating is turned on at this time, the engine will accelerate its warm-up process by adjusting the ignition timing to generate more heat, thereby heating the coolant in the radiator. This will result in a significant increase in fuel consumption.
As a long-term user of the Geely Boyue, the heater switch is essentially the temperature adjustment knob. On the air conditioning control panel, you'll see the knob marked with red and blue zones—simply turn it toward the red section to activate the heater. This operation is highly intuitive, eliminating the need for a dedicated button. Personally, I prefer pressing the AUTO button to let the system automatically manage temperature and airflow, making it effortless and worry-free. In winter, avoid cranking up the fan immediately after starting the car; wait for the engine to warm up for better heating performance, or you'll just get cold air. Remember to use the recirculation function to concentrate warm air inside, saving fuel. If the knob becomes stiff or unresponsive, it might indicate a wiring issue, though this is rare. Overall, once you're familiar with this design, it’s incredibly convenient—just a few seconds to set up after getting in the car.
