To be honest, Dongfeng Motor's headquarters is indeed in Wuhan. I remember seeing their huge company logo when I was handling business near their building. As one of China's four major automobile groups, Dongfeng has had its headquarters in Wuhan for decades, specifically in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone. It's conveniently located near the Dongfeng Overpass and Jiangcheng Avenue. Last year, my friend went there for a job interview and mentioned the massive campus, which includes office buildings of joint ventures like Dongfeng Honda and DPCA. If you're interested in visiting, Wuhan also has the Dongfeng Automobile Museum, where they display the first truck they ever manufactured.

The headquarters of Dongfeng Motor, deeply rooted in Wuhan, is a local landmark. The older generation knows that Dongfeng Avenue in Zhuankou was named after it. After relocating from Shiyan, Dongfeng turned Wuhan into a hub for vehicle manufacturing, parts production, and R&D. Even Fuyao Glass, a Tesla supplier, built its Central China factory near Dongfeng's headquarters. Whenever I drive by, I always see various new vehicles with Dongfeng logos being tested in the campus. Recently, they also partnered with Voyah to build a new energy factory in Hanyang. So, it's fair to say that Wuhan's confidence in automobile manufacturing largely stems from Dongfeng.

Wuhan City. As an automotive industry observer, I've noted that Dongfeng Motor Corporation's headquarters is located at No. 1 Dongfeng Avenue, Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, which can be verified in business registration records and annual reports. In 2022, Wuhan's automobile production reached approximately 1.4 million vehicles, with Dongfeng-affiliated companies accounting for over 70% of the total output, covering complete passenger and commercial vehicle supply chains. From an industrial clustering perspective, the golden triangle formed by Dongfeng, SAIC-GM's Wuhan base, and XPeng's Wuhan plant has established Wuhan as the largest automotive industry cluster in central China.
