I remember the location of the headlight relay for the Xiali A+ very clearly—it's inside the fuse box in the engine compartment. Open the hood, and you'll see a small black square box on the left side near the windshield, about the size of a palm. Unclip the fasteners on top to reveal neatly arranged fuses and relays inside. The headlight relay is usually blue or black, labeled with 'HEAD' or a small bulb icon. Last time I helped my neighbor replace it, I noticed that the 2005 Xiali model has the box positioned slightly more to the right, near the battery. It's best to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before working on it. If the labels inside the box are unclear, you can find a relay location diagram online for reference. If you still can't locate it, it's advisable to seek help from a professional mechanic, as incorrect handling of the electrical system can easily cause damage.

How to eliminate the EPC light on an old Jetta?

Intake system troubleshooting, using qualified fuel, cleaning the throttle body, etc. Remove carbon deposits from related components. If the throttle body is dirty, it should be cleaned. If the brake lights are not working, inspect the brake switch and wiring. Re-flash relevant ECU data (this applies when other faults have been resolved but the issue persists). Other potential faults cannot be ruled out. Specific repairs should be based on actual vehicle diagnostic results.

How to solve the high fuel consumption of an old Audi Q5?

Excessive engine carbon deposits are a significant cause, primarily due to the use of inappropriate fuel. It is recommended to go to a 4S shop for carbon cleaning. The oxygen sensor mainly monitors the air-fuel ratio of the engine. If it is damaged, it will increase fuel consumption, so it is advisable to replace it with a new one. During vehicle use, the oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter must be replaced regularly.

How to Remove the Ignition Switch of an Old Jetta?

There are a total of 5 cross screws under the plastic cover, which can be unscrewed with a tool. Two hex screw holes can be seen above the light lever and the wiper lever, one on each side. Remove them with a hex screwdriver. Turn the key to the "B" position and pull out the lock cylinder from the ignition switch plug. The ignition switch can then be removed.
