Where is the headlight height adjustment for the Magotan?

Magotan's headlight height adjustment is located in the engine compartment. Open the engine hood, and you will find the headlight height adjustment button inside the compartment. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment knob to adjust the height of the vehicle's headlights. Turning it upwards will raise the headlights, while turning it downwards will lower them. The Volkswagen Magotan originates from the FutureB6, which is closely related to the Passat B6, and it is the first B-class sedan produced and sold by FAW-Volkswagen since its establishment. In terms of body dimensions, the Magotan measures 4866mm in length, 1832mm in width, 1464mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2812mm.
Adjusting the headlights on my Magotan is quite straightforward. If your car comes with the automatic leveling function, there's a round knob near the driver's left foot with a headlight icon and arrows—that's the one. For newer models like the 2023 version, you'll need to operate it through the central control screen. Go to Vehicle Settings, find External Lighting, and then select Manual Height Adjustment to drag the slider. Remember to adjust against a wall, aiming for the middle of the tires as the ideal position. Last time at the repair shop, the mechanic mentioned that the headlight height automatically resets after driving on bumpy roads, so you'll need to manually readjust it then.
