Where is the Headlight Fuse Located?

Automobile headlight fuses are located inside the fuse box next to the engine under the front hood. At the rear of the vehicle's left front headlight, beside the car battery, there is a black square box containing the vehicle's fuses and relays. Location of vehicle fuse boxes: Generally, vehicles have two fuse boxes. One is located inside the engine compartment and is responsible for the normal operation of external vehicle electrical components, such as lights, horn, onboard computer, air conditioning compressor, windshield washer motor, etc., providing circuit protection. The other is located on the left side of the steering wheel or inside the glove compartment, responsible for the normal operation of internal vehicle electrical components, such as power windows, cigarette lighter, electric seats, and airbags. Types of fuses: There are also two different types of fuses. One is the blade-type fuse, which is thin, plug-in, and allows circuit current of 5 to 25A. The other is the slow-blow fuse, which is square, plug-in, and allows circuit current of 20 to 60A. The color represents the amperage of the fuse. Based on the color, it is easy to distinguish the different amperage sizes, which are also labeled on the fuse.
