GAC Trumpchi factories are located in four places: Guangzhou Panyu Factory, Urumqi Factory in Xinjiang, Hubei Factory, and Hangzhou Factory. Here is more information about GAC Trumpchi: 1. GAC Trumpchi is the first independent model of GAC Group, positioned in the mid-to-high-end market. Adhering to the brand philosophy of "Building good cars for loved ones and filling the world with love," it integrates GAC Group's resources and experience, insists on independent innovation, and is committed to developing models suitable for Chinese driving habits and road characteristics. 2. The Trumpchi GA4 is the latest quality masterpiece in the A-class family sedan market, targeting "quality life creators who are proactive, ambitious, and dream of advancing their lives." It presents users with four core values: "fashionable and dynamic charm design, comfortable and spacious home-like interior, ten-in-one safety technology, and one-touch smart connectivity entertainment," comprehensively meeting the travel needs of young consumers.

GAC Trumpchi's main production base is located in Guangzhou, particularly at the GAC Panyu Automobile City in Panyu District, which houses their most crucial assembly plant. I've visited that facility before, and its scale is truly impressive with nearly fully automated production lines. I remember there's also an R&D center within the complex where engineers debug new models right on the production floor. Actually, besides Guangzhou, they have complete vehicle plants in Hangzhou, Xinjiang, and Yichang, and recently established an overseas factory in Cambodia. But when it comes to headquarters, Guangzhou is absolutely the home base—after all, GAC Group's headquarters sits by the Pearl River. The manufacturing plants are all strategically located for transportation convenience, with Guangzhou Port offering particularly efficient export logistics.

I've studied GAC Motor's factory layout, with its main production base located on Jinshan Avenue in Panyu District, Guangzhou. The assembly lines there can produce thousands of vehicles daily, especially the GS series SUVs which roll off the production line here. As a brand under GAC Group, GAC Motor's factory locations are strategically chosen for supply chain advantages – Guangzhou has a dense concentration of auto parts manufacturers, like the Aisin transmission plant just 50 kilometers away. They also collaborate with BYD to produce hybrid models at the Panyu factory. Beyond Guangzhou, the Hangzhou facility focuses on sedan production, while the Xinjiang plant targets the northwest market. All factory data is consolidated at the Guangzhou headquarters.

My cousin works as a quality inspector at the GAC Motor factory in Guangzhou, and he's shared many details with me. The main plant is located in Hualong Town, Panyu District, where you can see a massive logistics area when driving by. The production line operates in three shifts, and even engines are assembled in-house. In addition to production, the Panyu facility is equipped with a test track, and every vehicle undergoes a rain test before leaving the factory. Later, GAC Motor built a new plant in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, primarily producing GA series sedans. However, the design and R&D departments remain in Guangzhou, with all new product development completed at the GAC Research Institute in the city center. So, the core technology still resides in Guangzhou.

Last year at the auto show, I spoke with GAC engineers. Their manufacturing bases cover six cities, but the core facility in Guangzhou is the most comprehensive. The Panyu plant is not just a production base—it includes complete processes for stamping, welding, and painting. The key parts warehouse is right next to the plant, which significantly reduces assembly time. The Hangzhou factory focuses on MPV models, while the Yichang plant produces new energy vehicles. As for the sales network, inventory vehicles for nationwide 4S stores are all allocated from Guangzhou. Notably, their smart factory system has its central control center in Guangzhou, enabling real-time monitoring of production status across all branch plants.
