Where is the fuse of the Touran GP2 located?

The fuse of the Touran GP2 is located under the seat cushion. You don't need to remove the seat cushion; it is positioned towards the left rear side of the seat cushion. Just lower your head to see it. Function of the fuse: The fuse, also known as a current fuse, is defined by the IEC127 standard as a "fuse-link." Its primary role is to provide overload protection. With the advancement of technology, fuses protect electrical equipment from damage caused by excessive current or overheating, preventing severe damage to electronic devices due to internal faults. How a fuse works: When a fuse is correctly installed in a circuit, it will melt and break the current when the current abnormally rises to a certain level and heat, thereby ensuring the safe operation of the circuit.
If you drive a Taizong GP2, the fuse location is usually under the seat or near the battery. When checking, first remove the seat—there’s a small manual box covered by a plastic lid, with several small fuses lined up inside. Remember not to operate with power on, as it can easily cause a short circuit. I carefully pried it open with a key and saw a 20A fuse labeled for the headlight circuit. Last time my headlights didn’t work, it was because that fuse had blown. After replacing it with one of the same rating, everything worked fine. Daily driving involves a lot of vibrations, so if it feels loose, try pressing it back in firmly. It’s best to use a multimeter to check if the voltage is normal. If you don’t have tools, shine a flashlight to see if the filament is broken. These small tasks aren’t complicated—even beginners can handle them, saving a pointless trip to the mechanic and unnecessary expenses. There might be spare fuses inside the fuse box cover, so remember to check periodically and keep it clean.
