Located on the right side of the glove box in the front passenger seat. Below is the relevant introduction of the Passat Lingyu: 1. Maintenance: The vehicle warranty for the Lingyu is 2 years or 60,000 kilometers, with the maintenance cycle as follows: (1) First maintenance: 7,500 kilometers or 6 months. (2) Second maintenance: 15,000 kilometers or 12 months. (3) Maintenance interval: 7,500 kilometers or 6 months. It is recommended to perform a major maintenance after the vehicle has traveled 60,000 kilometers, including replacing the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, and transmission fluid. 2. Configuration: Bluetooth phone, heated electric seats with memory, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic wipers, four airbags, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, etc.
Last time my power seat stopped working, and after checking for a while, I found it was a fuse issue. The fuse box in the Passat Lingyu is located next to the driver's left leg—just bend down and you'll see a black plastic cover. Pry open the cover, and you'll find dozens of fuses inside. Typically, the power seat fuse is numbered between F36 and F42, but the exact number depends on your model year. I located the corresponding fuse and found it was blown. I simply went to the auto parts store and bought a replacement of the same specification (25A), which only cost a few bucks in total. I recommend checking the manual first to confirm the fuse number, as the position might vary slightly between different model years. When replacing it, make sure the engine is off, and avoid touching any metal parts. If the fuse keeps blowing frequently, you should also check if the seat motor is stuck, causing excessive current—otherwise, the new fuse will blow again soon.
