The fuse for the cigarette lighter in the Roewe RX5 is located under the left dashboard cover. The car fuse is a type of current fuse; when the circuit current exceeds twice the rated current of the fuse, it will melt within seconds to protect the circuit. The Roewe RX5 is an internet SUV that adopts Blue Core high-efficiency power technology, equipped with 2.0T and 1.5T mid-mounted direct-injection turbocharged engines. In terms of body dimensions, the Roewe RX5 measures 4545mm in length, 1855mm in width, and 1690mm in height. Regarding internet features, the Roewe RX5 Platinum Edition comes with the latest internet car system, featuring six major functions: AI artificial intelligence voice, big data active navigation system, travel cloud entertainment system, IoT mobile remote vehicle control system, intelligent car maintenance service, and smart hardware access.
Last time I replaced the cigarette lighter fuse on my Roewe RX5 myself and found it quite well hidden. There's a fuse box cover on the lower left side of the steering wheel, on the dashboard side, which can be pried open with some force. Inside, you'll see rows of small colored fuse chips, and the back of the cover usually has Chinese icons and numbers printed on it. The cigarette lighter fuse number is marked in the manual, typically in position F34 or F43, depending on your car model. Remember to remove the car key before operating, and you can easily remove the blown fuse chip with a small clip. It's advisable to keep a few spare fuses in the glove box. Once, my fuse blew suddenly at a highway service area, and luckily the spare parts came in handy. The fuse rating is usually 15A or 20A, so make sure to confirm the current parameters before replacing it. Installing the wrong one could damage the circuit.
