Last time I replaced the cigarette lighter fuse on my Roewe RX5 myself and found it quite well hidden. There's a fuse box cover on the lower left side of the steering wheel, on the dashboard side, which can be pried open with some force. Inside, you'll see rows of small colored fuse chips, and the back of the cover usually has Chinese icons and numbers printed on it. The cigarette lighter fuse number is marked in the manual, typically in position F34 or F43, depending on your car model. Remember to remove the car key before operating, and you can easily remove the blown fuse chip with a small clip. It's advisable to keep a few spare fuses in the glove box. Once, my fuse blew suddenly at a highway service area, and luckily the spare parts came in handy. The fuse rating is usually 15A or 20A, so make sure to confirm the current parameters before replacing it. Installing the wrong one could damage the circuit.

What are the reasons for the vehicle's cooling fan not spinning?

The reasons for the vehicle's cooling fan not spinning are: 1. The water temperature has not reached the required level; 2. The relay is faulty; 3. The temperature control switch has issues. The vehicle's radiator is mainly used for engine cooling and coolant heat dissipation, ensuring the engine does not overheat and malfunction. It consists of fan blades, a vehicle fan belt, and an electric motor. The maintenance methods for the vehicle's radiator are: 1. Avoid contact with acidic, alkaline, or corrosive substances; 2. Use soft water to reduce scale formation; 3. Choose non-corrosive antifreeze; 4. During radiator installation, avoid damaging the cooling fins or denting the radiator to ensure cooling efficiency and sealing.

What is the reason for the vehicle's set light to illuminate?

The reason for the vehicle's set light to illuminate is abnormal tire pressure, which requires storing the tire pressure. The set light is a tire pressure monitoring indicator light. Once the light is on, it indicates that at least one of the vehicle's four tires has a pressure value lower than the standard, indicating an underinflated state. Tire pressure refers to the air pressure inside the tire. The hazards of abnormal tire pressure: 1. The friction coefficient with the road surface increases, leading to higher fuel consumption; 2. It causes unsafe factors such as a heavy steering wheel and easy deviation; 3. It increases the movement of various parts of the tire, leading to abnormal heating due to excessive rolling; 4. The friction between the tire and the ground increases exponentially, leading to a tire blowout.

What does vehicle OBD mean?

Vehicle OBD is the On-Board Diagnostics system, and its functions are: 1. To locate and describe faults in the faulty parts or components, facilitating repairs; 2. To alert about faults that cause excessive emissions, prompting the increase in environmental impact due to pollutant emissions. OBD includes: 1. EGR; 2. Engine; 3. Particulate filter; 4. Catalytic converter; 5. Oxygen sensor; 6. Emission control system; 7. Fuel system. The working principle of OBD: When an emission fault occurs, the ECU records the fault information and related codes, and informs the driver through the malfunction indicator lamp or check engine light.

What are the reasons for the car radar constantly beeping?

The reasons for the car radar constantly beeping are: 1. The reversing radar probe is covered with something, causing signal blockage; 2. The rear wiper water pipe is leaking or water has seeped into the reversing radar system; 3. The radar ultrasonic signal is faulty, causing false alarms; 4. The reversing radar circuit is short-circuited or the radar module is malfunctioning. The solutions for the car radar constantly beeping are: 1. Check if there is any obstruction on the radar holes at the rear of the vehicle and clean the camera; 2. Seal the leak or replace the water pipe, then drain any accumulated water in the radar system; 3. Restart the engine, drive the vehicle to an open area and try reversing again to check the result.

What are the reasons for a car stalling while driving?

The reasons for a car stalling while driving are: 1. Use of low-quality fuel; 2. Carbon deposits in the engine; 3. Electrical circuit failure or sensor malfunction; 4. Damage to the fuel pump, fuel line rupture, or clogged carburetor fuel inlet; 5. Faulty throttle position sensor, air flow sensor, intake pressure sensor, crankshaft position sensor, or camshaft position sensor; 6. Disruption in the engine timing system. Solutions for a car stalling while driving: 1. Replace with high-quality fuel; 2. Clean the engine; 3. Check the electrical circuit and sensor operation; 4. Inspect the carburetor fuel inlet for any blockages.

What is the reason for the ABS light coming on after a vehicle inspection?

The reasons for the ABS light coming on after a vehicle inspection are: 1. Air in the system pipeline; 2. System computer malfunction; 3. Vehicle speed sensor failure; 4. ABS wiring harness breakage. The ABS system consists of an ABS pump, wheel speed sensors, and a brake switch. Its working principle is: during emergency braking, the highly sensitive wheel speed sensors installed on each wheel detect wheel lock-up, and the computer controls the pressure regulator to release pressure from the wheel's brake cylinder to prevent wheel lock-up. The functions of the ABS system are: 1. To prevent vehicle loss of control, increase braking distance, and improve vehicle safety; 2. To improve the overall braking performance of the vehicle; 3. To prevent wheel lock-up during braking; 4. To ensure that the driver can control the direction during braking and prevent rear axle skidding.
