Tiguan L does not have a separate fuel tank cap switch. Simply press the fuel tank cap when the vehicle is unlocked, and the cap will automatically pop open. When the vehicle is locked, the fuel tank cap will also be automatically locked. Depending on the model, the fuel tank cap is generally located on the rear fender on either side of the car. For the Tiguan L, the fuel tank cap is placed on the right rear fender. Some sports cars place the fuel tank cap on the front fender, such as the Porsche 911.
