Where is the fuel tank cap switch on the Camry?

The fuel tank switch button for the new Camry is located on the multifunction button on the left side of the keyboard. The marked liter is the safe capacity: The liters marked on most fuel tanks are the safe capacity, which is generally about 10% less than the actual capacity. When designing the fuel tank, considering the thermal expansion and contraction characteristics of fuel, to ensure driving safety, a certain space must be left in the fuel tank after filling to the rated volume to prevent excessive internal pressure. Overfilling can damage the carbon canister itself, while underfilling leaves too much space in the tank, causing fuel to evaporate into vapor and be lost. The fuel gauge cannot accurately reflect the remaining fuel: You cannot completely rely on the fuel gauge on the car's dashboard to judge; it only provides a qualitative indication and cannot quantitatively reflect the remaining fuel in the tank. The relationship between the amount of fuel added and the distance traveled cannot be used to determine fuel consumption because road conditions, speed, traffic congestion, air conditioning usage, vehicle load, fuel leakage, and fuel quality can all directly affect fuel consumption.
I've been driving my Camry for almost ten years, and I remember the fuel tank cap switch location very clearly. On the floor near the driver's left foot, close to the door frame, there's a small lever with a fuel tank symbol. After getting in the car, just reach down to the lower left and you can feel it. Remember to turn off the engine before refueling, then pull this switch to hear the fuel tank cap pop open. If you've installed aftermarket floor mats, make sure they don't block the switch. The location is basically the same for older and newer models, but hybrid versions might have an additional charging port switch nearby—don't confuse them. If it suddenly won't open, it's probably a stuck cable; just press the fuel tank cap a few times and then pull the switch again, and it should work.
