The fuel tank cap of Haval M6 is opened by pressing a button, and the button is located under the driver's seat. The fuel consumption of Haval M6 manual transmission model is 7.7 liters per 100 kilometers, and that of automatic transmission model is 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers. Haval M6 is a compact SUV under Haval. The length, width and height of this car are 4649 mm, 1830 mm and 1705 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2680 mm. The following are the methods to reduce fuel consumption: 1. Check the air conditioning system in summer: Air conditioning failure is a very important reason for high fuel consumption. Poor cooling effect of the air conditioner will increase the wind speed and lower the temperature to achieve a cool effect. 2. Frequent emergency braking: Frequent emergency braking is the main reason for the high fuel consumption of the car. While ensuring the safe driving of the vehicle, make full use of the inertia of the vehicle. 3. The air conditioner of small-displacement vehicles should not be turned on too hard: For vehicles exposed to the sun, the air conditioner should not be turned on immediately after getting on the car. First open the window, set the fan to a higher gear without turning on the air conditioner, drive away the heat in the car, and then turn on the air conditioner after the vehicle has cooled down moderately.

I remember the first time I went to refuel my Haval M6, I circled the car three times but couldn't find the fuel tank switch. Later, I realized the design of this car is quite clever—there's no need to open the fuel tank cap separately! As long as the vehicle is unlocked, simply press the right side of the fuel tank cap to pop it open. Normally, when refueling, I unlock the doors with the remote key, walk to the rear of the car, and with a 'click' it opens. If you encounter an emergency where it won't open, don't force it—there's an emergency pull ring in the storage compartment of the front left door. Just lift the decorative cover and pull. However, remember to lock the car when refueling, as the fuel tank lock and the car doors are interconnected.

From a structural design perspective, the Haval M6 features an electromagnetic locking fuel tank cap. When seated in the driver's seat, first locate the central locking switch. Upon pressing the unlock button, you'll hear a soft 'click' near the rear wheels, indicating the fuel tank lock is being released. Then, proceed to the rear of the vehicle where there's a hidden push area at the lower right corner of the fuel tank cap. Press firmly with your thumb, and the cover will pop open. Remember to perform this operation after turning off the engine, as the fuel tank lock remains forcibly engaged while the engine is running. After refueling, press the cap firmly shut until you hear a crisp snapping sound, indicating it's securely closed. This integrated design proves especially convenient in winter, eliminating the need to fumble with mechanical switches in the cold wind.

The operation involves just three steps: First, turn off the engine and remove the key, then press and hold the unlock button on the remote for more than 2 seconds. You'll hear the fuel tank lock release. Walk directly to the fuel tank cap, slide your palm into the groove at the edge of the cover, and pull it outward—no need to press any buttons. If there's no response, check the inside of the front left door; there's a round emergency release at the bottom of the door panel storage compartment. Pay attention to small details when refueling: There's a dedicated slot inside the fuel tank cap for the fuel gun cap, and it's also handy for temporarily placing keys or coins.
