Where is the fuel tank cap switch of GL8?

The fuel tank cap switch of GL8 is located under the driver's seat in the main cockpit. Pull it outward by hand to open the fuel tank cap. For the new GL8 model, the fuel tank switch is inside the fuel tank cap. You can press the fuel tank cap slowly to open it. Fuel tank maintenance: The fuel tank provides waterproofing and insulation. If the vehicle idles for a long time, the fuel system should be cleaned or the filter replaced when reaching 30,000 kilometers. Otherwise, the fuel tank's air pressure will be too high, causing the vehicle to shake while driving. Checking the engine oil condition: In summer, the high temperature causes rapid evaporation of oil and water. Ensure the fuel tank cap is tightened securely. Besides preventing oil leaks from the fuel pipes, regularly check the water level in the radiator, the oil level and height in the crankcase, the brake fluid level in the master cylinder, and the electrolyte density and level in the battery. If any of these fall below the normal specified level, remember to add or adjust them promptly.
When I first drove the GL8, I also spent a while looking for the fuel tank cap switch! The design of this car is somewhat unique—the switch isn't located near the traditional center console. From the driver's seat, just naturally reach your right hand toward the inner side of the door. You'll find a small button with a fuel tank symbol above the driver's side door storage compartment, near the window control buttons. The fuel tank cap button on the new GL8 is in a similar position as the older models, all in the area above the left door armrest. Press it, and you'll hear a click sound indicating it's unlocked. Then, you can press the fuel tank cap at the rear to open it. A quick reminder: make sure to turn off the engine before refueling. If the button doesn't respond, the fuel tank cap motor might be stuck—give the cap a light tap and try again.
