Where is the fuel tank cap switch located on the Golf?

The fuel tank cap switch for the older version of the Golf is located around the A-pillar or B-pillar inside the driver's cabin. As it is a mechanical switch, the owner can press it to open the fuel tank cap. For the newer version of the Golf, the fuel tank cap features a push-to-open mechanism, where pressing the cap from the outside will open it. The Golf is a compact sedan under FAW-Volkswagen, featuring a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4296mm in length, 1788mm in width, and 1471mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2636mm. Under the hood, it is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
