Where is the fuel pump relay located in the old Jianghuai Refine model?

Old Jianghuai Refine fuel pump relay is located on the right driver's side. Remove the storage compartment, and it can be found in the upper right corner inside the engine compartment's fuse box. There is a pillar at the front right, entirely made of metal, which serves as both the main engine relay and the fuel pump relay, connected together. Below is an introduction to the fuel pump relay: 1. Working principle: The fuel pump relay mainly functions by automatically closing its contacts when the car reaches the specified oil pressure. This serves as a signal of normal oil pressure, sent to CNC, PLC, etc., as a condition to allow the device to start. 2. Function: When the pressure falls below the specified level, the pressure relay contacts will automatically open, cutting off the control circuit, triggering an alarm, and causing the car's equipment to stop automatically, protecting the safety of passengers and the vehicle's equipment.
As an owner of an older Jianghuai Refine for many years, I can share my experience: The fuel pump relay is usually located in the fuse box under the steering wheel in the cabin, specifically behind the small door on the left side of the dashboard, labeled "Fuel Pump." In older cars, relays are prone to aging, which can cause the fuel pump to stop working. When the car won't start, check here first. For earlier models, like the 2005 version, it might be in the relay box on the right side of the engine bay. Always disconnect the power before removing the cover, and use a test light or multimeter to check connectivity—don’t yank it out and damage the socket. I regularly clean the contacts to prevent dust buildup from affecting connectivity. If you can’t find it, keep a spare relay in the car for emergencies—they’re only about ten bucks each and can save you from being stranded. A quick check during routine maintenance can also extend the vehicle’s lifespan.
