Old Jianghuai Refine fuel pump relay is located on the right driver's side. Remove the storage compartment, and it can be found in the upper right corner inside the engine compartment's fuse box. There is a pillar at the front right, entirely made of metal, which serves as both the main engine relay and the fuel pump relay, connected together. Below is an introduction to the fuel pump relay: 1. Working principle: The fuel pump relay mainly functions by automatically closing its contacts when the car reaches the specified oil pressure. This serves as a signal of normal oil pressure, sent to CNC, PLC, etc., as a condition to allow the device to start. 2. Function: When the pressure falls below the specified level, the pressure relay contacts will automatically open, cutting off the control circuit, triggering an alarm, and causing the car's equipment to stop automatically, protecting the safety of passengers and the vehicle's equipment.

As an owner of an older Jianghuai Refine for many years, I can share my experience: The fuel pump relay is usually located in the fuse box under the steering wheel in the cabin, specifically behind the small door on the left side of the dashboard, labeled "Fuel Pump." In older cars, relays are prone to aging, which can cause the fuel pump to stop working. When the car won't start, check here first. For earlier models, like the 2005 version, it might be in the relay box on the right side of the engine bay. Always disconnect the power before removing the cover, and use a test light or multimeter to check connectivity—don’t yank it out and damage the socket. I regularly clean the contacts to prevent dust buildup from affecting connectivity. If you can’t find it, keep a spare relay in the car for emergencies—they’re only about ten bucks each and can save you from being stranded. A quick check during routine maintenance can also extend the vehicle’s lifespan.

What are the components of the crank-connecting rod mechanism?

The components of the crank-connecting rod mechanism are: 1. Engine block group: cylinder block, cylinder gasket, cylinder head, crankcase, cylinder liner, oil pan; 2. Piston-connecting rod group: piston, piston ring, piston pin, connecting rod; 3. Crankshaft-flywheel group: crankshaft, flywheel, torsional damper, balance shaft. The functions of the crank-connecting rod mechanism are: 1. Converting gas pressure into crankshaft torque; 2. Transforming the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft; 3. Converting the force acting on the piston crown from combustion into crankshaft torque to output mechanical energy to working machinery. The front end of the crankshaft in the crank-connecting rod mechanism is used to drive auxiliary mechanisms such as the valve train, water pump, and fan. The front end shaft is equipped with a timing gear, belt pulley for the fan and water pump, torsional damper, etc.

How to Turn Off the Engine Auto Start-Stop Function in the Verano?

To turn off the engine auto start-stop function in the Verano, press the off button marked with the letter 'a'. The primary purpose of this feature is energy conservation and reducing exhaust emissions. Disabling the start-stop function allows the driver to have better control over the vehicle. The auto start-stop function refers to a system that automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle comes to a temporary stop during driving and restarts it when it's time to move again. Notes for using the start-stop function include: 1. Quickly shift to P gear and release the brake when the engine stops; 2. Minimize electrical consumption; 3. Avoid repeatedly pressing the brake pedal when the engine is off; 4. Ensure the engine speed drops to zero before engaging the starter gear for a restart; 5. Do not activate the auto start-stop system during low-speed parking or when the air conditioning is on.

Is it legal to modify the exterior of a Mercedes-Benz E300 to resemble a Maybach?

Modifying the exterior of a Mercedes-Benz E300 to resemble a Maybach is legal. Here is the relevant introduction to the Mercedes-Benz E300: 1. Exterior: The front face design is identical to the imported version, with sharp lines for the split high and low beams, giving an overall youthful and dynamic effect that completely washes away the image of the "old Benz." The LED light group below the front of the car interprets the word "fashion" even more thoroughly. 2. Interior: The dark gray interior appears relatively youthful, paired with brown seats, giving a very high-end feel. The focal point on the upper part of the dashboard is the large GPS navigation screen, which is big enough to be impressive. The middle section houses the audio control buttons, and the lower part contains the air conditioning control buttons.

What Hanging Ornaments Should Be Hung on a Newly Purchased Car?

As long as it aligns with one's Five Elements zodiac sign, the shape of the ornament can be chosen, and the car owner's preferences can be considered. Any ornament that follows Feng Shui principles can bless the owner with peace and auspiciousness. For example, if a white crystal ornament is hung in the car, crystals belong to the Water element in the Five Elements, so those lacking Water in their destiny can use this crystal. However, if someone lacks the Fire element in their destiny, they should avoid white crystals and instead opt for red or pink crystals, which belong to the Fire element. Below are the recommended positions for hanging car ornaments: 1. Clip-on Ropes: They can be detached, looped around the rearview mirror, and then clipped back on. 2. Loop Ropes: Long ones can be slipped over the rearview mirror, while short ones can be looped around the mirror, and the main ornament can then be threaded through the double lines. 3. Small Suction Cups: They can be attached behind the car's rearview mirror.

What are the effects of filling a car designed for 95 octane with 92 octane fuel?

Using 92 octane gasoline in a car designed for 95 octane can affect the spark plugs and cylinders, and in severe cases, may cause engine knocking. This issue arises due to the difference in octane ratings. Mixing fuels with different octane ratings can lead to adverse effects on the vehicle. Hazards of mixing gasoline: The gasoline engine is prone to knocking. Prolonged engine knocking can lead to faults such as piston sintering and piston ring breakage, accelerating the wear and tear of engine components. This can result in the engine's inability to suppress knocking, which is particularly noticeable when the vehicle is idling. Additionally, it can increase carbon deposits in the engine, leading to a series of indirect damages such as increased fuel consumption and accelerated wear. Difference between 92 octane and 95 octane gasoline: The only difference lies in the octane rating, which represents the fuel's resistance to knocking during combustion. Higher octane ratings indicate better anti-knock properties. It is recommended to use the gasoline grade specified on the fuel tank cap or in the vehicle maintenance manual.
