Where is the fuel pump located in the Highlander?

Installation location is inside the fuel tank. The fuel pump is responsible for drawing gasoline from the fuel tank and delivering it through the pipeline and fuel filter to the carburetor float chamber. It is precisely because of the fuel pump that the fuel tank can be positioned away from the engine at the rear of the vehicle and below the engine level. Precautions for using the automotive fuel pump: 1. Do not arbitrarily disassemble rubber sealing devices: If there is a rubber sealing device between the hand fuel pump piston and the hand fuel pump body, do not disassemble it casually. If the rubber ring is damaged, it should be replaced promptly. 2. Strictly prohibit adding diesel for dilution: During use, it is strictly prohibited to add diesel to gear oil for dilution, and do not bake the rear axle and transmission due to winter starting difficulties, as this may cause severe deterioration of the gear oil. In such cases, replace it with low-viscosity multi-grade gear oil. 3. Replace oil according to specified indicators: New oil should be replaced according to the specified oil change indicators. If there is no oil quality analysis method available, replace the oil within the specified period. Automobile manufacturers recommend an oil change interval of 30,000–48,000 kilometers. When changing the oil, release the old oil while it is still hot, clean the gears and gearbox, and then add new oil. Take care to prevent water and impurities during refueling.
