Jianghuai Refine's fuel pump fuse is located in the fuse box inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. Function of the fuel pump: The fuel pump is the most fundamental component in the engine's fuel supply system. Its role is to draw gasoline from the fuel tank and deliver it through the pipelines and fuel filter to the float chamber of the carburetor. Thanks to the fuel pump, the fuel tank can be positioned at the rear of the vehicle, away from the engine, and below the engine level. Advantages of vane-type electric fuel pumps: Jianghuai Refine vehicles mostly use vane-type electric fuel pumps, which offer benefits such as high fuel delivery volume, high fuel pressure, stability, low noise, and long service life.
I've driven quite a few Jianghuai Refine models, and the fuel pump fuse is mainly located in the interior fuse box, specifically under the dashboard on the driver's side. Open that small cover, and you'll see a row of fuses; the fuel pump one is usually labeled 'FUEL PUMP' or something similar, with a diagram pasted on the cover to help you locate it. If there's no diagram, check the user manual for the F position, commonly around F15 or so. If the fuse blows, the fuel pump stops working, making the engine hard to start—I've had the car break down midway because of this. It's advisable to regularly check the fuse condition: turn off the ignition, use a test pen to gently touch both ends of the fuse—if it conducts, it's good; if not, replace it with a new one of the same amperage. Common faults stem from circuit shorts or voltage instability, so keeping the wiring secure can prevent issues. If you can't pinpoint the problem, it's safer to visit a repair shop.
