The fuel filter on the Focus is located on the chassis under the right rear door, near the fuel tank. The fuel filter, also known as the fuel strainer or fuel filter element, functions to filter out solid impurities such as iron oxide, dust, harmful particles, and moisture contained in the gasoline. It protects components like the fuel injectors, cylinder liners, and piston rings, prevents fuel system blockages, and reduces wear and tear on the engine parts to ensure stable engine operation. The Focus is a compact car under the Ford brand, known for its excellent chassis and handling, which has elevated Ford's brand position in the global market. The new-generation 2020 Focus is equipped with two engine options: the 1.5L EcoBoost and the 1.5L Ti-VCT, with all models meeting the China VI emission standards.
