Where is the front BCM module located in the Axela?

The body control module of the Axela is located above the accelerator pedal in front of the driver's seat, specifically on the left side below the center console. Functions of the body control module: The body control module's functions include power window control, central door lock control, remote anti-theft, lighting system control, electric mirror heating control, instrument panel backlight adjustment, power distribution, etc. Working principle of the body control module: After processing data, the module generates response signals through integrated output devices (including relays and solenoids). Through the output device system, the BCM coordinates the operation of various electronic systems. The design diagram of this body control module shows a customized circuit serving as a gateway to connect and integrate smaller circuits.
I've always found it quite interesting to locate the BCM module in the Mazda 3. There's a small panel near the footwell under the steering wheel - just unscrew it and you'll see the black box-shaped module that controls functions like lights and windows. Once when helping a friend fix their car, the lights weren't working due to poor contact, and after some troubleshooting we discovered a loose connector. I recommend not forcing the cover open to avoid damaging wires, and it's best to operate after disconnecting the power. Always pay attention to whether functions are working properly while driving - don't wait until problems arise to fix them. Be extra careful about sealing in humid environments to prevent short circuits. Regularly cleaning connectors with a soft cloth can extend their lifespan.
