There are three locations where the frame number of Baojun 730 can be found: the lower left corner of the instrument panel, the firewall in the engine compartment, and the vehicle nameplate on the radiator crossbeam. Relevant information about the frame number is as follows: 1. The frame number of a car is also called the vehicle identification number (VIN). Each car has a unique VIN, which consists of 17 digits and letters arranged in a strict combination to serve as the vehicle's unique identifier. 2. In the 17-digit VIN, the first 3 characters represent the country of production, manufacturer, and vehicle type. Characters 4-8 represent vehicle characteristics, such as vehicle type, engine type, and body type. The 9th character is a check digit to verify the correctness of the VIN. The 10th character indicates the production year, showing when the car was manufactured. The 11th character represents the assembly location, usually denoted by 0. Characters 12-17 are the production sequence number. 3. By entering the VIN online, you can query vehicle information, including the brand, model, production year, displacement, body structure, transmission, drive type, and engine details.

I've helped quite a few Baojun 730 owners with this question, and the VIN location is actually quite obvious. The most common spot I've seen is at the lower left corner of the windshield, on the driver's side - you can find a long alphanumeric combination by carefully looking from outside. If it's not on the glass or has become illegible, try checking the side of the instrument panel below the steering wheel - crouch down and look up, you'll usually spot it there. As a last resort, open the driver's door and check the door sill or door pillar, as sometimes there's a label there too. Remember to bring a flashlight or use your phone's flash when searching, as some spots have poor lighting and are easy to miss. These locations should help you easily find that 17-digit 'ID number'.

As someone who often helps neighbors check their cars, I'm most familiar with the VIN location on the Baojun 730. Just look at the rectangular area near the base of the windshield wiper in front of the driver's seat - the VIN strip is embedded in the glass interlayer. If it happens to be covered by a sunshade, don't worry. Open the door and check the bottom of the B-pillar (the vertical beam inside the door frame), where there's usually a white label with black characters. Another alternative location is on the frame under the front passenger seat, though you'll need to bend down to find it. When checking the VIN, I recommend comparing it with the duplicate of the vehicle license to avoid common mistakes like mixing up the letter O and the number 0.

The VIN of the Baojun 730 is mainly located in three positions: the easiest to find is at the lower left corner of the front windshield, visible without entering the car. The second is in the engine compartment, where there is an aluminum metal plate stamped with the number near the firewall. The third location requires opening the driver's door to see the nameplate on the side sill. Remember to double-check the letters I and numbers 1 when recording, as these are often confused. The vehicle manual actually provides a diagram indicating the specific locations.

Does Cruise Control Damage the Car?

Cruise control does not damage the car. The following are the conditions for using cruise control and precautions to note: Usage Conditions: In principle, cruise control should be used on highways or fully enclosed roads. This is because on non-enclosed roads, complex road conditions are not conducive to traffic safety. On national highways, some tractors lack sufficient power and often rush onto the road at small intersections, posing a serious threat to vehicles on the highway. In such cases, using cruise control may lead to unpreparedness. Precautions: Do not use cruise control in rainy or snowy/icy conditions. It should also be avoided on mountainous roads with many curves or winding roads. This is because, under normal circumstances when navigating curves, it is necessary to appropriately accelerate to provide greater steering force.
