Where is the foot brake on a Nissan?

Manual transmission cars have three pedals, from left to right: clutch, brake, and accelerator. Automatic transmission cars have two pedals, from left to right: brake pedal and accelerator pedal. Introduction to brakes: Brakes, also known as stopping devices, refer to the action of stopping or reducing the speed of moving locomotives, vehicles, and other transportation tools or machinery. The general principle of braking is to fix a wheel or disc on the high-speed shaft of the machine and install corresponding brake shoes, belts, or discs on the machine base, which generate braking torque under external force. Location of the car brake pedal: The car brake pedal is located under the steering wheel. Pressing the brake pedal causes the brake linkage to be pressurized and transmitted to the brake shoes on the brake drum, clamping the brake disc and causing the car to decelerate or stop.
As a long-time Nissan driver, I can tell you that the foot brake is located in the left foot area of the driver's seat. Specifically, it's to the left of the brake pedal, roughly where your left foot naturally rests while driving. Just move your left foot slightly forward from its idle position to reach it. When engaging the foot brake, remember to press it firmly all the way down until you hear a click, indicating it's locked. To release, press it firmly again and it will spring back. However, newer Nissan models like the Qashqai and Sylphy have switched to electronic parking brakes, with only older models like the Teana and Bluebird still using traditional foot brakes. Be extra careful during rainy days to prevent water accumulation near the foot brake—I once had it stuck due to snowmelt freezing.
