The Excelle is produced in Shanghai, with body dimensions of 4419mm in length, 1814mm in width, and 1487mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2685mm. The vehicle features the new family-style winged chrome grille, giving the front fascia a sharper and more robust appearance. The combination of black piano vertical grille and high-gloss chrome winged grille focuses the visual center of the front on the emblem, while the winged grille extends horizontally to the headlights on both sides, enhancing the horizontal visual effect and overall cohesion of the front. The car is also equipped with a newly designed 16-inch dual five-spoke luxury two-tone aluminum alloy wheel, with dark coating and precision-machined bright surface treatment, creating a more three-dimensional and layered visual effect. The lightweight and high-rigidity wheel design provides drivers with an excellent handling experience.

I'm quite familiar with the Excelle. It's a common sight on the roads. This car is produced in China, specifically at the SAIC-GM factory in Jinqiao, Pudong, Shanghai. The facility is quite large with advanced production lines, serving as one of Buick's main production bases in China. A friend of mine working at the Jinqiao plant told me their assembly line standards are high, matching GM's global factory requirements. Most Excelle models running on Chinese roads bear the 'Shanghai GM' badge on the rear, whether they're older or newer models.

When to Turn on the Width Lights While Driving?

Width lights should be turned on in the following situations: 1. When driving at night; 2. When driving at dusk; 3. When visibility is poor during rainy days; 4. When visibility is low in foggy conditions. Width lights: These lights mark the outline of the vehicle, such as its width, height, and length, and are installed at the four corners of the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as on the edges of the cargo compartment. Width lights are similar to clearance lights, but clearance lights are mostly found on large vehicles, such as buses, coaches, and trucks. Each side of these vehicles has multiple clearance lights that illuminate at night, allowing other vehicles to see how long and wide the vehicle is to avoid traffic accidents. This is especially important for trailers, as their cargo area is dark at night, and passing vehicles might collide if they don't notice them. With clearance lights, other drivers can recognize that the vehicle is a long one.

Where to Renew an Expired Vehicle License?

An expired vehicle license can be renewed at the local vehicle management office. The vehicle license is the legal document permitting a motor vehicle to drive on roads within China. It consists of a license holder, a main page, and a supplementary page. The front of the main page contains the stamped license core, while the back features the vehicle's photo sealed in a plastic cover. The supplementary page is the stamped license core. The renewal process for an expired vehicle license is as follows: 1. Renewal should be initiated three months in advance, meaning within ninety days before expiration, to participate in the motor vehicle inspection; 2. For vehicles not exempt from inspection, the owner must bring a letter of authorization, the vehicle license, and the compulsory traffic insurance policy to the local motor vehicle inspection station for examination; 3. It is no longer necessary to apply for an inspection compliance mark. After passing the inspection, the supplementary page of the vehicle license will be directly stamped.

Can I Use 95 Octane Gasoline After Using 98 Octane?

Yes, you can use 95 octane gasoline after using 98 octane, but you should first use up the 98 octane gasoline before refilling with 95 octane. Gasoline is a volatile, flammable hydrocarbon mixture liquid derived from the distillation, cracking, or pyrolysis of petroleum, used as fuel. It appears as a transparent liquid, primarily composed of aliphatic hydrocarbons, naphthenic hydrocarbons, and a certain amount of aromatic hydrocarbons. Notes on refueling: 1. Refuel in the morning or evening when temperatures are relatively lower, as the same volume of gasoline can have a higher mass; 2. Avoid filling the tank completely when driving in the city, as this can increase engine load; 3. Do not wait until the tank is empty before refueling, as insufficient fuel can prevent the fuel pump from being submerged, reducing its lifespan; 4. Avoid refueling during thunderstorms, as the fuel nozzle might introduce stray currents into the fuel tank, increasing the movement of unstable gasoline molecules and posing fire or explosion risks.

Can National 5 Vehicles Still Be Registered Now?

National 5 vehicles cannot be registered now. National 5 represents the fifth phase of China's vehicle emission control standards, where higher numbers indicate stricter standards. These emission standards are used for testing new vehicles. Methods to determine a vehicle's emission standard include: 1. Check the annual inspection label on the vehicle's front windshield—National 3 is marked as 'iii', National 4 as 'iv', National 5 as 'v', and National 6 as 'vi'; 2. Visit the Motor Vehicle Environmental Protection website, enter the VIN and the last six digits of the engine number to query. The vehicle registration process is as follows: 1. Obtain the vehicle certificate; 2. Keep the triplicate purchase invoice; 3. Pay the vehicle purchase tax and obtain the tax certificate; 4. Register and inspect the vehicle at the DMV; 5. Choose a license plate number; 6. Pay the fee and install the plate after receiving it.
