Where is the ESP switch located in a car?

Most cars have their ESP switch on the center console to the left of the steering wheel, while some vehicles place it near the gear shift lever on the center console. The location of the ESP switch varies depending on the car model. Most vehicles are equipped with an ESP switch, and the system is usually enabled by default. Pressing and holding the ESP button can deactivate the ESP system. ESP stands for Electronic Stability Program, a stability control system primarily designed to mitigate the risk of tailspin and loss of control caused by consecutive steering maneuvers during emergency obstacle avoidance. When performing emergency evasive actions, ESP intervenes by increasing the rotational force of the drive wheels. If a tailspin tendency is detected, ESP applies braking to the opposite wheels to reduce rotation, helping the vehicle follow the driver's intended steering direction.
