Where is the engine air intake located on the Wuling Zhiguang?

The engine air intake of the Wuling Zhiguang is located under the front hood of the vehicle, near the position of the right headlight. The engine of the Wuling Zhiguang is mid-mounted and not located in the front engine compartment. The height of the air intake determines the vehicle's wading depth. The Wuling Zhiguang is a vehicle model introduced by SAIC-GM-Wuling. It is a microvan-level model with a wheelbase of 2500mm, front track of 1290mm, and rear track of 1290mm. The Wuling Zhiguang uses two 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engines, one being a low-power version and the other a high-power version. The low-power 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine delivers 76 horsepower and a maximum torque of 108 Nm. This engine reaches its maximum power at 5600 rpm and its maximum torque between 3600 to 4200 rpm. It features multi-point fuel injection technology and uses an aluminum cylinder head with a cast iron cylinder block.
I just tinkered with my Wuling Rongguang, and the engine air intake is quite hidden. Following the air filter box, it's located in the engine compartment under the passenger seat, near the firewall. That thick black plastic pipe is the one, connected to the air filter box. Normally, you can see it by lifting the passenger seat cushion, but when repairing, you have to lie under the car to reach the pipe connection. This design raises the air intake a bit, making it less likely to suck in water when crossing puddles, but in dusty areas, you need to change the air filter more frequently—too much sand will definitely damage the engine. Last week while cleaning, I even found leaves inside, no wonder it made a gurgling noise when accelerating.
Having run an auto repair shop for over a decade, I can identify a Wuling Sunshine engine blindfolded. Its air intake is located on the right side of the engine bay, adjacent to the battery, connected to a square air filter box. Special attention is required during repairs: The elbow of the intake pipe tends to accumulate sludge, causing restricted airflow. Once, a customer complained about insufficient power, and upon inspection, we found the passage 80% clogged with sludge. This front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicle has a mid-mounted engine with its air intake positioned significantly higher than sedans. However, vehicles with minimal ground clearance require extra caution - water crossing beyond half the wheel hub height risks water ingestion.
