The EcoSport's cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. It can be accessed by removing the glove compartment, and the process of removal and replacement is very convenient. The specific steps are as follows: 1. After opening the glove compartment, first release the clips on both sides; 2. Once the glove compartment is removed, the cabin air filter can be found. The EcoSport is the first compact SUV under Changan Ford, with dimensions of 4345mm in length, 1785mm in width, and 1659mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2530mm. The interior of the EcoSport features orange trim panels for a lively visual effect, along with up to 27 flexible and practical storage spaces to meet daily needs.

Last time I helped a friend deal with the EcoSport's cabin air filter issue, it was located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. Before starting, you need to remove the glove box by unscrewing the knobs or clips on both sides with a screwdriver - gently twist them to detach the entire glove box. Then you'll see the black elongated filter cover, which has small clips on both sides that can be pinched with fingers to remove. The filter itself is made of pleated paper material, so pay attention to the arrow direction printed on it to avoid installing it backward. If replacing it yourself, I recommend choosing an activated carbon filter - though more expensive, its odor-eliminating effect is noticeably better than standard filters. Remember to run the AC for a few minutes after replacement to confirm there's no air leakage before considering the job complete.

Can 92 and 95 be mixed?

If the recommended gasoline for the vehicle is 92 octane or below, a mixture of 92 octane and 95 octane gasoline can be used, but it is not recommended for long-term use. If the recommended gasoline for the vehicle is 95 octane or above, a mixture of 92 octane and 95 octane gasoline cannot be used. If a high-compression-ratio engine uses low-octane gasoline, the gasoline engine is prone to knocking. Prolonged engine knocking can easily cause faults such as piston sintering and piston ring breakage, accelerating the damage to engine components. If a low-compression-ratio engine uses high-octane gasoline, although it can avoid engine knocking, the high-octane gasoline paired with a low-compression-ratio engine will alter the ignition timing, leading to increased carbon deposits in the cylinders. Long-term use will reduce the engine's lifespan. Whether it's 92 octane or 95 octane gasoline, both are gasoline mixtures. When these two different octane gasolines are mixed, they will blend, and the resulting gasoline's octane rating will definitely be between 92 and 95. For vehicles that can use 92 octane gasoline, it is equivalent to using a higher octane gasoline, which is fine in the short term. For vehicles that use 95 octane gasoline, it is equivalent to using gasoline with a lower octane rating than recommended, which is highly harmful and should not be used.

What is the wattage of a typical halogen bulb?

Halogen lights come in a wide variety of aperture specifications, with sizes generally proportional to the light source power. The power typically ranges from 3-5W per bulb. LEDs are more energy-efficient: LEDs have high luminous efficiency, nearly twice that of fluorescent lamps. For the same daytime running lights, LED components consume only 1/20th the energy of halogen bulbs. The cost of LED components has also significantly decreased year by year, currently dropping at a rate of over 20% annually. LEDs offer excellent durability: LED components have a simple structure with excellent impact and shock resistance, making them less prone to breakage and highly adaptable to various environments.

What Does the Annual Vehicle Inspection Check?

During the annual vehicle inspection, the engine, chassis, body, and any modifications made to the vehicle are checked. The required documents to be submitted include the vehicle's registration certificate and insurance policy. Mechanical Inspection: Check whether the engine, chassis, body, and auxiliary equipment are clean, intact, and functional, whether the paint is uniform and aesthetically pleasing, whether major assemblies have been replaced, and whether they match the initial inspection records. Performance Inspection: Test whether the vehicle's braking performance, steering control, lighting, exhaust, and other safety features comply with the "Technical Conditions for Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles" requirements. Appearance Inspection: Inspect whether the vehicle has been modified, altered, or rebuilt, whether the registration details on the driving license, license plate, and vehicle records match the actual condition of the vehicle, and whether any changes have been made and approved through proper procedures. Documents required for the inspection include the original vehicle registration certificate, driver's license, original copy of the compulsory traffic insurance policy, proof of vehicle and vessel tax payment, and ID card. For company vehicles, additional documents are required, such as the original registration certificate, a copy of the compulsory traffic insurance policy, the organization code certificate of the People's Republic of China (with a fresh seal), a power of attorney (with a fresh seal), and a copy of the agent's ID card.

Is it necessary to install power-folding mirrors?

If you don't modify them initially, you can observe your actual usage for a period. If you frequently encounter situations requiring mirror folding, then retrofitting might be advisable. Introduction to power-folding mirrors: Currently, most mid-to-high-end vehicles come equipped with foldable mirrors. There are two types of folding mechanisms: manual and power-operated. Manual folding requires the driver to either reach out the window or exit the vehicle to fold the mirrors, which is both inconvenient and unsafe. This manual folding type has become increasingly rare nowadays. Benefits of power-folding mirrors: Folded mirrors can save significant space and prevent potential "broken mirror" incidents. During driving, minor collisions are inevitable. As the widest protruding components on a vehicle, mirrors are most vulnerable to impact in side-swipe situations. The folding function helps minimize such damage effectively.
