Where is the drain valve on a Corolla?

Toyota Corolla's radiator is located at the front of the engine, right behind the front grille where it faces the wind. If you need to replace the coolant, the radiator's drain valve is positioned at the lower right side of the radiator's back (not at the very bottom) as a white plastic plug. Removing this plug will allow the radiator fluid to drain out. Precautions for removal: Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. High-pressure engine coolant may spray out from the radiator, potentially causing severe burns. Adding coolant: After draining the radiator fluid, reinstall the drain valve properly. Then pour new coolant into the coolant filler port located in the engine compartment.
I've been driving a Corolla for almost a year now. At first, I didn't know where the drain valve was, but after checking the manual, I realized it's actually the air conditioning drain pipe. It's located just below the front of the driver's seat, behind the engine compartment near the firewall, sticking out as a small black plastic tube. The drain pipe's function is to discharge the condensed water from the air conditioning system. If it gets blocked, water can accumulate inside the car or cause a musty smell, affecting health and driving safety. After parking, it's good practice to check if there are water drip marks on the ground. For simple maintenance, use a soft cloth or air gun to clean the opening periodically to prevent leaves and dirt from clogging it. I make it a habit to check it every time I wash my car to ensure it's clear and worry-free, saving me a lot of hassle and avoiding trips to the repair shop.
