Where is the drain valve located on a Quanchai engine?

The drain valve on a Quanchai engine is located below the intake pipe, next to the oil cooler. Introduction to diesel engines: A diesel engine is an internal combustion engine that obtains energy release by burning diesel fuel. It was invented in 1892 by German inventor Rudolf Diesel. To commemorate this inventor, diesel fuel is represented by his surname 'Diesel', and diesel engines are also called Diesel engines. Advantages of diesel engines: Diesel engines offer high power output and excellent fuel economy. The working process of a diesel engine shares many similarities with gasoline engines, with each operating cycle going through four strokes: intake, compression, power, and exhaust. However, since diesel engines use diesel fuel which has higher viscosity than gasoline and is less volatile, while having a lower auto-ignition temperature, the formation of combustible mixture and ignition method differ from gasoline engines.
When I needed to drain the water from the Quanchai engine, I directly located the position at the bottom of the engine. Generally, the drain port is designed on the side near the oil pan or below the radiator, depending on the model. I recommend turning off the engine and letting it cool down first, otherwise high-temperature liquid may spray out and harm you. Wear gloves during the operation, find a bucket to catch the water, and use a wrench to loosen the drain plug gently to avoid damaging the threads. Draining the coolant before winter is crucial to prevent the radiator from freezing and cracking. If you can't find it, check the user manual or look up diagrams of your vehicle model online—most are located in the lower engine area. Ensure the system is fully drained before adding new antifreeze to extend the engine's lifespan. Regularly performing this small maintenance task can save you a lot on repair costs.
