Where is the drain screw for the coolant in the BMW 1 Series located?

The drain screw for the coolant in the BMW 1 Series is located at the lower hose of the radiator fan. Loosening it will allow the coolant to drain. The method for replacing the new coolant is as follows: 1. Cool the vehicle before draining. Never replace the coolant when the engine is at high temperature to avoid the risk of burns. Additionally, draining the coolant while the engine is hot may affect the vehicle's cooling. 2. Pour approximately 3.5L of coolant into the reservoir until the liquid level reaches the upper limit MAX mark. 3. After loosening the drain screw near the upper hose, continue adding coolant until it flows out steadily without air bubbles, then tighten the drain screw. 3. Start the car and let it idle for 3-5 minutes until it reaches normal operating temperature, allowing the new coolant to circulate fully in the cooling system. Turn off the engine and check the reservoir; if the liquid level has dropped, add an appropriate amount of coolant to maintain the level between MAX and MIN.
