The Corolla does not have an eco switch. The eco mode is merely an indicator light that signals when the vehicle is in a more fuel-efficient state. The eco function is a passive mode and operates automatically. The working principle of the car's eco mode is as follows: during driving, it comprehensively assesses the automatic transmission gear, engine speed, and transmission oil temperature to control the engine speed with appropriate gear selection. The onboard computer then calculates the optimal fuel quantity to supply the engine for operation. The Corolla is equipped with a 1.2T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 116 PS, a maximum power output of 85 kW, and a peak torque of 185 Nm. It is paired with a 10-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT).
