The cigarette lighter fuse of Chery e5 is located in the fuse box on the left side of the engine compartment and above the clutch pedal. Differences: The power supply for small cars is generally DC 12V (may vary depending on the model), with the central elastic head as the positive pole and the two side clips (ears) as the negative pole. It is directly connected to the car battery, and the current and power are the same as those of the battery. Usage: The car cigarette lighter is an electronic device similar to a multi-hole power socket for household use. It connects to the car power supply through a plug and then extends multiple cigarette lighter sockets. The cigarette lighter socket is very useful for car owners who frequently use car electronic products, such as charging mobile phones, MP3/MP4, and other digital products. In addition to providing power for cigarette lighters, it can also be equipped with a car inverter, which converts the car's 12V, 24V, or 48V DC power into 220V/50Hz AC power for ordinary electrical appliances. The car inverter is best used in a split type, with the power of the electrical appliance limited to below 150W, and the output current not exceeding the battery current.

Last time my E5's cigarette lighter suddenly lost power, and after struggling for half a day, I finally found the fuse located near the left leg of the driver's seat. Bend down and feel under the dashboard, there's a small plastic cover around knee height. Pry it open with your fingernail to reveal many small colored fuse chips. Look for the one marked with the cigarette lighter icon—usually the 15A blue one. Later, I realized it blew because I overloaded it with an air pump. Now I always keep a few spare fuses in the car; you can buy a whole panel of them for two bucks at an auto parts store. Replacing it yourself is simple: use a plastic clip to pull out the bad one, and when inserting the new one, make sure it's oriented correctly—don't put it in backwards.

Just helped my neighbor with this issue a couple of days ago. The cigarette lighter fuse for the Chery E5 is located under the left side of the steering wheel. From the driver's seat, reach down and you'll find a small square box with clips near the door side—press to open the cover. The back of the cover has icons indicating each fuse's function; just look for the cigarette lighter symbol. My neighbor mentioned her charger suddenly cutting out before was due to this, so she suggested keeping a few 15A fuses in the glove box. Remember to turn off the engine and power when replacing—just wiggle the fuse left and right with your fingers to pull it out. If fuses burn out frequently, check if your car charger's power rating is too high.

Having worked on many Chery models, the cigarette lighter fuse is generally located in the cabin fuse box. For the E5, the specific position is on the far left side of the instrument panel, above the clutch pedal. After removing the rectangular cover, you'll see two rows of colored fuses. The cigarette lighter fuse is usually in the middle row, a 15A blue square. Remember to disconnect the vehicle's power before each replacement and use a dedicated plastic clip for the operation. If the new fuse blows immediately, it might indicate a circuit short—check if there's a coin stuck in the cigarette lighter socket or if the wiring insulation is damaged causing a ground fault.

How many cans of undercoating are generally needed?

Generally, about 5 cans of undercoating are needed. Below is some relevant information about undercoating: 1. Introduction to undercoating: The formal name of automotive undercoating is automotive chassis anti-collision, anti-rust, and soundproofing coating ("UNDERCOATING" primer), a high-tech adhesive rubber asphalt coating. It is non-toxic, has high coverage and adhesion, and can be sprayed on exposed parts of the vehicle such as the chassis, wheel hubs, fuel tank, lower panels, and trunk, forming a strong elastic protective layer after quick drying. 2. Functions of undercoating: Undercoating can effectively protect the chassis from road gravel impacts and prevent minor scrapes and friction; it prevents corrosion of the chassis metal plates by acids, alkalis, and salts; it prevents loosening of chassis screws; it reduces noise transmission during driving, enhancing driving quietness; and it blocks heat conduction from the chassis metal plates, keeping the cabin warm in winter and cool in summer.

What is the difference between Intelligent Cruise Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control?

Intelligent Cruise Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control differ in the following aspects: 1. Functionality: Adaptive Cruise Control can follow the vehicle ahead, while standard cruise control cannot. This means that with standard cruise control, the vehicle maintains the speed set by the driver regardless of whether there is a vehicle ahead, whereas Adaptive Cruise Control not only has the functionality of standard cruise control but also maintains the vehicle's longitudinal movement. In the event of a collision risk, the vehicle will alert the driver and intervene with active braking, while standard cruise control relies solely on the driver's manual operation in emergencies. 2. Structure: Standard cruise control is relatively simple, lacking complex sensors and processors. In contrast, Adaptive Cruise Control includes radar sensors, digital signal processors, and control modules. If an image recognition module is added, it can essentially achieve autonomous driving. 3. Applicability: Adaptive Cruise Control is suitable not only for highway conditions but also for urban driving with stop-and-go traffic, whereas standard cruise control is only suitable for good road conditions, such as highways with light traffic.

How to Set Lexus Seat Memory?

Seat power on, adjust the seat to your preferred position, and press the set button on the door side to complete the setup. Here are additional explanations: 1. Seat memory function: The seat memory function refers to the integration of the car seat with the vehicle's computer system, adding memory capabilities to the seat, enabling intelligent management of the driver's seat usage parameters. 2. Providing comfortable driving for the driver: For example, if the previous driver adjusted the seat to a certain position, the next driver may need to readjust the seat to ensure comfortable driving. In this case, the vehicle's computer will store the seat parameters used by the previous driver. When the previous driver needs to drive the vehicle again, simply pressing a button will restore the previously used seat parameter settings, which is the seat memory function of a car.

How many digits does a vehicle identification number have?

Vehicle identification number (VIN) consists of 17 letters and numbers, which is the unique identifier of the vehicle and can be considered as the car's ID. The VIN is also known as the vehicle identification code. In addition to being visible on the vehicle registration certificate, the VIN can be found in several locations: the lower left side of the front windshield, on the engine, on the nameplate at the bottom of the B-pillar near the front passenger door, and on the vehicle chassis. The VIN is primarily divided into four parts. Positions 1-3 represent the world manufacturer identifier code; positions 4-8 represent the vehicle descriptor section; position 9 is a check digit that uses a specific algorithm to prevent input errors; and positions 10-17 represent the vehicle identifier section. The first, second, and third characters represent the country of manufacture, the manufacturer, and the vehicle type, respectively. The fourth digit indicates the vehicle category. The fifth digit represents the model series code, which is related to the manufacturer. The sixth digit indicates the body type (vehicle exterior) code. The seventh digit represents the engine type code. The eighth digit indicates the type of transmission equipped. The tenth character represents the production year, corresponding to the vehicle's model year. The eleventh character of the VIN indicates the vehicle's assembly plant, with "0" signifying original factory assembly. Characters 12 to 17 represent the production sequence number, indicating the order of the vehicle's production. This sequence number is used for vehicle recalls if necessary.

What is the normal temperature range for an electric vehicle battery?

Electric vehicle batteries operate optimally within a temperature range of 0-40°C. Here are some key points about electric vehicle batteries: 1. Optimal battery temperature: Since the ideal temperature for battery cells is 0-40°C, temperatures that are too high or too low can affect cell activity and cause irreversible damage, potentially impacting battery lifespan. When charging an electric vehicle, if the battery temperature is below 0°C, it needs to be preheated before charging can begin, which prolongs the charging process and is not conducive to battery maintenance. 2. Battery usage precautions: During vehicle charging, as the battery pack temperature rises, significant temperature differences can trigger chemical reactions in the active materials on the positive and negative plates, thereby reducing battery life. Conversely, when battery temperatures are too low, the battery's storage capacity decreases, making it prone to over-discharge and consequently shortening battery lifespan.

How to Determine Airbag Malfunction?

Here are the specific details for determining airbag malfunction: 1. Airbag warning light illuminates: If the airbag malfunction warning light turns on 6 seconds after turning the ignition switch or remains lit after turning off the ignition, there is a fault in the airbag warning light circuit. It should be inspected at a repair shop as soon as possible. 2. Insufficient battery voltage: Low battery voltage can cause the airbag malfunction warning light to illuminate. Once the battery voltage returns to normal, the airbag malfunction warning light will automatically turn off. In such cases, simply charging the battery is sufficient.
