Where is the cigarette lighter fuse located in the Enclave?

The cigarette lighter fuse in the Enclave is located under the glove box on the passenger side. It is quite concealed. The blue one is the circuit fuse. Function of the fuse box: The fuse box is an overcurrent protection switch, primarily used to control circuit operation. There are many circuits in a car, and fuses serve to protect these circuits. When the circuit temperature is too high or the current is excessive, the fuse will melt to protect the circuit. Related vehicle fuse box location: The fuse box is located at the rear of the battery in the engine compartment. To open it, turn off the ignition key. The dashboard will go dark, and the vehicle's power will be cut off. Open the driver's side door. Pull the front hood release lever. Lift the front hood upwards. Locate the fuse box. Press and hold the fuse box lock position and lift upwards to open the fuse box cover.
Last time I helped a friend check the cigarette lighter in their Enclave, the fuse is usually hidden under that small cover below the dashboard on the driver's side. You'll need to open the car door and kneel down to look for it. There's typically a plastic box with a fuse diagram printed on it, and the cigarette lighter section is labeled with a numbered position like FUSE 20 or so. If you can't find it, I recommend pulling out the vehicle manual for a closer look, as the location may vary between different model years of the Enclave—some fuse boxes are even under the hood.
The most common reason for a blown cigarette lighter fuse is using a high-power car charger or poor plug contact causing a short circuit. Once it's blown, replacing the fuse is pretty simple: just prepare a 10-amp spare, carefully pull out the old one, and plug in the new one. However, make sure the car is turned off before working on it to avoid electric shock. If you're not confident, take it to a mechanic—don't mess around and risk damaging the wiring.
To reduce the risk of blowing fuses, avoid plugging in incompatible devices and maintain a bit more awareness of your car's care to keep it running longer.
