Chevrolet Trax cabin air filter location: Inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. The glove compartment needs to be removed to replace the filter. Some models are equipped with two cabin air filters, with the other one located on the lower exterior side of the front windshield. The replacement steps are as follows: 1. Pull the hooks on both sides of the glove compartment outward to disengage it. 2. Unfasten the clips on the air filter box cover and remove the filter. 3. The air filter can be reused if it's not too dirty—just clean it before reinstalling. 4. During installation, ensure the text on the filter faces the driver; installing it backward will render it ineffective.
