Where is the Chery Trunk Switch Located?

Chery trunk switch is located below the left side of the driver's seat. Methods to open the trunk from inside the car: There are button-type switches inside the car to open the trunk, usually located on the left side of the steering wheel or in the center console area; lever-type switches, generally found on the lower left side of the driver's seat or the lower left side of the steering wheel, marked with an icon of a raised car trunk; central lock control switch, simply unlock the central lock to open the trunk from the rear. Methods to open the trunk from outside the car: Mechanical key opening: Insert the key into the tailgate lock cylinder to open or close the tailgate. This is the mechanical method, reminiscent of the era when car tailgates first appeared and mechanical keys were used. Nowadays, this method is considered too cumbersome and has largely been phased out.
I recently researched the trunk switch positions on Chery cars and found there are quite a few options. Based on my experience driving the Tiggo series, the most commonly used one is the button on the inner side of the driver's door - just press it to open the trunk instantly, which is extremely convenient. There's also a remote button on the key fob; hold it for a few seconds and the trunk pops open automatically, perfect for hands-free access when carrying luggage. Some newer models like the Arrizo GX even feature a sensor area under the trunk lid where you can simply swipe your foot to open it, packed with technological sophistication. Positions may vary across different models, so I recommend checking the owner's manual first to avoid wasting time searching blindly. If you can't locate it, common issues include dusty buttons or dead batteries - regular cleaning usually solves the problem. For safety, always remember to park before operating, as opening the trunk while driving is highly dangerous.
